Lotta people dig this girl, eh?
BTW check out the Giant Bombcast. They did a full episode talking about Mass Effect 2 where they interviewed Casey Hudson. According to him, they seem to be very committed to making sure the choices of both games really come through in the third, especially what squaddies survived
This interests me greatly.

I had a lot of reasons for being attracted to her...
- Love techy geek girls
- Like shyness
- Like akward babbling
- like having history with someone...
- and yes.......................her hips...........lol
The hips are'nt the most important thing.... but they sure are'nt bad either!!!! lol
As far as the face goes, it's largely irrelevant to me.....as long as it's not a rotten drippy zombie face I think i can manage lol

Though Bioware fleshed her out more than any other character in the game, her and the quarian history. It's easy to fall for her just for being herself. She doesn't show skin, she doesn't talk bad, she's just herself. That's the most important thing I like about her.

I think that sounds great, honestly. But.. It would still get around on the internet and such. It would be hard to avoid ever seeing it for those who don't want to. It's really either do, or don't. I mean, people could still refuse the canon and continue to have their own ideas.. But when you know something is canon, it makes it hardernoisecode wrote...
I'm with you on that Crimson ... I'm so on the fence. I think part of her allure is that you don't know what she looks like, and with her it's all about the personality, and as it should be. Beauty, youth, and good looks vanish over the years.
........ but as much as i like her personality, her hips are awesome....there is no getting around that. That's not whats it's all about, but it's an added bonus.
As far as showing her face goes they should make it an option in ME3 .... this way everyone gets what they want.
Oh, and I think everyone here is agreed on Tali's hips ^^

point in going both ways. I would like to not see her face, but I can
live with it happening.
Everything else you said is true.

... and in retrospect, that makes me laugh maniacally when I remember the reasoning for why she wasn't a love interest in ME1; because some guy thought we wouldn't go for a girl with "chicken feet".
While I'm sure this person went on to do great things, that right there was logic truly warranting an epic fail tag and a facepalm response.

I fell for Tali after watching Jack and Miranda always at each others throats about something...I was "I don't have time for all Prep v. Emo drama.."Here comes Tali strolling in no drama and all hips, straight foward, arkward cuteness... no pretense. No BS and swept my male shephard right off his feet...
Her being on my first crew help alot too, you could definetly trust more that anyone else.. But for the most she is more real and emotional stable women on the Normandy beside Samara.
Oh yeah and did we mention hips... yep definitly a plus:devil:

We got down in here on all the reasons why she is so perfect. I have to add that the biggest one is the fact that Tali is the character that was not written for you to fall in love with. It was something that happened naturally for the player and Bio Ware saw it and listened. When they did finally give it to us it was not forced then either. They let Tali still be Tali in everyway and you just fell right back into those feelings from the first game only now it was deeper and had lots of emotional moments to seal the deal. I think it is as close to falling in love in real life as any medium has ever come. It is not something you can truly explain where others would understand. Love for something is love for something. No one ever knows 100% why you feel it but you feel it through to the bone. For the people that don’t get it that is because it just wasn’t for you.
Tali for the win!
