He means he was afraid that the devs had made Tali and Kal be together.

Yeah, thought that was self-explanatory <_<
It's pretty obvious, though, that Kal's got a thing for her when you talk to him during her loyalty mission.

With all due respect i never once got that impression.  Kal is cordgial and respectful to her, but that does'nt mean he want's to be with her romanticaly.  Millitary men and women are supposed to be that way to civilians.

And its a good thing he was respectful........ i'de hate to have to, ya know, beat him up or anything.  Kal is a cool dude.  i hope we see more of him in ME3

hahahah i love you sig it the best:O:O:O:O:O

You wonder what came first Kal or the involvement of Adam Baldwin. On a side not I'd love to see a rebellious colonist voiced by Nathan Fillion in ME3.

Ditto. Being nice, hell, even feeling like this person is your friend, doesn't mean that they want to be with each other. To me, Kal was just being very dutiful. His entire squad died trying to protect her and he didn't want their deaths to be in vain.

If you want Tali to love or to just be a friend, you got to admit she is one of the best squadmates in the game. She has one of the best Loyalty missions in ME2. And with Legion being added as a good Geth, I think I see a side story or expansion in the mix. Tali's romantic scene was the cutest one out of the bunch of LI's.

I know that when either you or Tali, not sure, ask him why he came to her trial he isn't really able to give a straight answer and is kinda awkward about it... which to me, makes it pretty obvious.

now that i think about it u are right, i have beat ME2 twice already using all my spare time and i kind of see now that he just respect her since when u are in the quarian ship he calls her by "mam" (something like that) not by her name in which if he did they could have something for each other but they dont, especially not tali since u can tell she loves shepard and even kelly tells u after u recruit tali, she will tell you that tali body language etc. tells she wants to be more than friends.

Totally.... lol  i love how after the trial he's like "Take care of yourself Ma'am"  and Tali's like "Please Kal, call me Tali'Zorah."  And Kal is like, "I'll try to work on that, Ma'am"

    @chool77 thanks man!!!!

Yes, plus Chitikka makes a great distraction.

I would like some DLC or something in ME3 relating the Geth and the Quarians. I wonder how it would change if Legion died, or Tali.

You got the other Quarians, or hey, you could always revive someone. Geth are repairable and revive Tali, like Shep was remade haha.

I did think it was kind of weird that we couldn't repair legion after he got shot in the face at the suicide mission.

God damn it Miranda...

I didn't have that problem and I used the same team. Legion through the vents (sorry, I'm not gonna risk Tali), and Miranda leading Fire team. Everyone came through alive. Did you do their loyalty missions and upgrades?

Miranda wasn't loyal because I didn't side with her in the Jack and Miranda fight. I never got enough Paragon to get it back up. I COULD go back and have Garrus lead the fire teams, and save everyone. But I was selfish with my wingmen Posted Image

Miranda, Jacob, or Garrius will do as Fire Teams. Tali can go through vents, but why not want a combat drone against those dumb Collectors? It's boss.

Ah, and I never had that problem. I think choosing your class ability is the difference. I always go with the specialization that maxes out my paragon/renegade scores. I also hear though, that if you don't side with Miranda you can later talk to her and regain her loyalty.

Even though my heart was pounding the entire time, Tali is the better choice for the vents because she's tech expert enough to get the door closed without getting shot, like Mordin...:(

Tali or Legion is fine. Really, you're looking for someone who can hack, which with Legion it's literally an innate ability. Mordin is a scientist so, yeah.

You can, it just requires a lot of paragon.  That could be the problem of why I didn't have a enough. I didn't max out specialization until after the suicide mission, I thought Charge was more important Posted Image
I suppose I could do it again with Jacob leading the fireteam as someone said, and I think everyone would get out alive. I'll save that for my 2nd play through then.

Mordin gets a face full of lazer if you let him close the doors.

I sent Tali through the vents and took Legion with me, I figured I'd need a good shot to help protect Tali, at least Legion is a good shot.

My Legion suffered that fate.

On another Tali related note, how do you think her being exiled, or not exiled from the Flotilla will effect her role in ME3?

Well either way the Normandy is her new home, so either way she should want to stay with the Normandy.

Unless something happens to the Normandy...AGAIN.

Um, I got the charges dropped on mine... But it will depend how you delt with Legion after his Loyalty mission. If you told him to suck it, you might be able to do something on the actual home planet. To make a deal with the free Geth or save a kidnapped Admiral counsil maybe? Or hell, blow up Geth and take home world by force.

I think it might be the difference between her having a pivotal role with the fleet, or having the side the side role of just being with Shepard when they decide to do something about it.

Well, I was thinking about it, because if she gets exiled she doesn't have much of a choice, though if she isn't she would. Of course she would rather go with Shepard, but if they ever needed her help, she would definetly answer the call. Still thinking on wether I should try to not get her exiled on the 2nd playthrough or not Posted Image

And, if the  Normandy did blow up again, I would be disapointed. That's the kind of card to can only play once without it becoming very cliched. Same with the whole bringing someone back to life Posted Image
