Agreed. I hope it's a pool from the ME1 and 2 party members, based on who is alive. I didn't expect the way they split up the crew for rebuilding in ME2.. So I'm excited to see how they handle it in ME3.

I would love to see Tali back in ME3 and as a recruitable squad mate. She was one of my most used Squadmates ME 2 and ME 1. ME 3 will definitely suffer without her in it (and yes I know if she died in ME2 she won't be there.)

I can see some ME2 members not coming back Thane perhaps, Zaeed for sure, Grunt.. That a coin flip Id prefer wrex honestly, Jack hmm maybe, Samara I can bet good money won't be back.

Seriously, Tali is the only romantic partner I feel like I owe something to. All the others felt like "getting with them" was my reward, but for Tali, I was HER reward. I didn't expect that. Even after clearing her name and saving her, I still feel indebted to her for risking her own life just to be with me.
I'm such a sucker for sacrificial love like that. It makes me feel so... good... just to be with her.
Here's hoping her role in ME3 is mind-blowing... though some romantic DLC for ME2 wouldn't hurt either.

Agreed. The DLC for the first ME was a bit underwhelming. I would rather have all efforts spent on a great final chapter.. But Casey Hudson already said in an interview they have a lot of DLC planned.

Let's hope Casey Hudson is correct about the things he/she stated. Though, things change sometimes. I'm sure they've already decided on the ME3 cast anyway.

Well, we already know we are getting the Hammerhead and a new character.  There was also a rumor about a DLC dealing with Liara's quest, but that will probably be out closer to ME 3, as it probably helps bridge the games together.

If they screw with Tali as a squad-mate/romance option, I'll be disappointed in BioWare, but I doubt it would ruin the game for me. I was slightly disgruntled w/ losing my team from ME1, but ME2 turned out to be the equivalent of an angel giving birth on a blank CD.

Tali is my favorite character too, but I don't know how Wrex would become a squad mate in Mass Effect 3 his clan needs him, in Tuchanka. I think will probably see Wrex leading an army of krogan to help fight the reapers.
