DLC for Tali female Shepard romance in ME2 please. No reason for that not to happen.

How about the fact that Tali may be heterosexual. It was mostly only guys who wanted Tali. Tali's a romance option for males. It was mostly only gals who wanted Garrus. Garrus is an option for females. If you really liked Tali in the first place, I think you could look tolerate playing as Male Shepard ;) Choice is nice, but it's Bioware's character, if they envisioned Tali as heterosexual, that's their decision. Personally, I'm glad of that. The whole image of Tali being rescued by a dashing commander - a knight in shining armor so to speak - rescuing a Quarian princess no less - fits more with male shepard. It's just Tali's personality.

Men play as female Shepard too.  Because she's better. :innocent:

And once again saying Tali doesn't have feeling for female Shepard indicates you haven't talked to her as female Shepard.

as much as i want to agree, making Someone bisexual kinda ruins it for the other sex, for example if Tali was a LI for a fem shep it miught ruin it for the male sheps.

Just my opinion, i'm not trying to insult anyone.

Why would it ruin it for male Shepards???  The onyl thing it ruins is that we have to play with boring male Shepard to romance the most popular Mass Effect character, and that my female Shepard can't express her love of Tali. :(

Also in the game Tali has says she no problems with being "intimate" with female Shepard, so BioWare hung that in our faces and  didn't deliver.

i understand why you want this it's just that we live in a Capitalist society so whichever way a company can make the most money, that's what they'll do.

and frankly if i was playing theg ame and i knew Tali was Bisexual... well it's just kind of a turn-off for most guys.

yeah is it wrong that I'm expecting her to go back

Just as about everyone else in this thread, i'd like her to stay on the Normandy, as a romance interest and all that. Heck, i'm even replaying ME1 to get a "romance-free" savegame. But i somehow can't imagine Shep and Tali getting an all-happy ending. There is certainly a lot of us Tali fans, but even we have to admit that that wouldn't be a strong enough ending of the story.

We appear to agree on many points yet here I feel inclined to object. True, it is difficult to envision how Shepard and Tali would be able to have naturally occurring offspring together (opposite DNA spiral structures just to start with), but one of the major aspects of the ME games has been the social issue of bigotry/racism. Anti-alien rhetoric, fear of the unknown (the true Geth appear to far more advanced and enlightened than I would ever have imagined), etc. are reoccurring themes in both games so far and if you choose the Paragon path you tend to oppose such views. While it might be "unnatural" for a human and a quarian to be together from a strictly biological point of view, there is nothing unnatural about two sentient, feeling beings coming together.

I personally feel it would make for one heck of a powerful ending (amongst many possible endings) to have the choice to decide whether to walk hand-in-hand with Tali (or any other alien love interest for that matter) watching a panoramic view at the end of "ME3". Then again, I am an idealist at heart and a hopeless romantic though these days I find experiences with realism adding layers upon those core drives; it's one of the reasons I truly love, yes "love", games like ME1, ME2 and Dragon Age, etc. because they remind me of what can be and of things that I personally consider worth striving for and fighting for if need be. Shepard's story inspires me and few things would make me happier than a "happily ever after" romantic ending with Tali as one possible choice for ME3.

KFD!  Hey man, been awhile from the old DAO forums...  Good post though, and I agree so much.  It's been a long time since I could say I loved a game, the Mass Effect series has done that.

"I am an idealist at heart and a hopeless romantic"  " few things would make me happier than a "happily ever after" romantic ending with Tali as one possible choice for ME3"  Right on buddy... right the hell on.

I really hate female Shepard's voice. It's so...Annoying I guess?

I wouldn't really have a problem with Tali being bisexual, maybe it's because of the bisexual controversy from ME1?

I don't know being bisexual is kind of a turn on for me. Posted Image

Clearly in your game she would not be bisexual or whatever.  She would be in love with your male Shepard.  This is an RPG, it's a different experience for different people.  The character is shaped by you.

119 pages... Damn...

Look, there we're two possible outcomes to Tali, she either was Exiled or found Innocent. They also changed her name to Tali'Zorah Vas Normandy. I can tell you, she will definitely be on the Normandy in ME3, maybe not as a squad member but at the very least what Joker is (Although I REALLY hope she's a squadmate.).

Now, I bet this is what Bioware COULD be doing. If Tali was your LI, and she wasn't exiled, when your ME1 LI gets on your ship, you have to choose. If you choose your ME1 LI, Tali goes back to the Flotilla and becomes an Admiral. If she was exiled, she just leaves the ship and finds work somewhere.
This seems like a fitting thing to do, since Bioware likes to scold you for your choices haha. I can see them doing this for all ME2 LI's, maybe as a way to explain why they aren't on the ship anymore.
If that's the case, and I turn out to be right... TALI ALL THE WAY! Screw you Ashley, ya damn racist!

That strikes me as an entirely reasonable and plausible idea. Besides, BioWare are known for being willing to pour significant time and resources into the background and choices available for their in-game characters even if they are not guaranteed to be characters all players will have kept around for a variety of reasons. I hope BioWare keeps this tradition and given the two good doctors' game developing philosophy (story focused above all else), I am willing to place my faith in them to continue delivering the kind of quality they have consistently delivered and surpassed time and time again. Point in case, they are so damn proficient at creating engrossing and believable characters that I have found myself longing to have the opportunity meet those characters (or ones like them) in real life. The bad news: ME is fiction (as far as I know). The good news: ME story telling is so powerful precisely because it does such a good job of recreating and reflecting believable themes, thoughts and feelings that many of us are familiar with in our daily lives. Yup gentlemen (and ladies), that means that there might just be a genuine "Tali" out there somewhere in our world, at least personality wise. Go get her! B)

That doesn't make a lot of sense. Couldn't she just say the same thing but replace girls with guys? It's the same thing. Just because you're attracted to both women, and men, doesn't mean you go gocking at every women when your in a relationship, or want to always have a 3 some... Though think I'm getting a little off topic here.

I really think you just have the wrong mentality.

What you said has nothing to do her sexuality. It's like if she was straight:

"I like you Shepard, but I also like other guys too."

See? Just because she's open to liking whoever she likes, doesn't mean she won't have eyes only for your Shepard.

According to that giant bomb podcast, BioWare does actually know whats under tali's mask. This makes me think we will for sure see her in ME3.
