Besides, rumor has it that the quarians are the closest race to humans (except the Asari).

Species on other planets could have similar sexual organs to Humans.  We assume Quarians do due to the whole relationship apex in ME2.
I dont think Asari do though, or at least not one made for sex.  If they reproduces through the nervous system, physical "catalyst" isnt really needed from the "male".  I  still imagine its pleasureable due to evolutions theory on why we developed to enjoy sex.

also i think Quarians are more similar to Huans than Asari because Asari are all female and don't have sex, they just mind meld or whatever, so technically Quarians are Humans with different leg structures and possibly different face features.

Ah, true! I really hope that one doesn't take to long!! I'm waiting on replaying Mass Effect 2 (EXTREMELY hard! My retail box is staring at me AS WE SPEAK!) until that DLC comes out. I already know, however, that I'll practically replay it the exact same way. Especially the romance part. I go for Tali and Tali alone.

As for the marriage: About a 100 pages back I think I had the honor of starting that idea (I might be wrong but who cares) so I fully support it!

I don't know where that came from but I just typed it down without missing a beat  Haha, when I read what I wrote I could actually hear Garrus say that stuff. Especially the end of it.

Well written and I whole heartedly agree. The ME universe could for all intents and purposes continue onwards the way the Star Wars book series did (last time I read one Leia and Han's children had become adults and it was some 18-20 years after "ROTJ"). I realise that keeping a game going for that long would be harder given the time and resources it requires comparatively to writing a book (depending on the author(s) involved), yet I for one would welcome more Shepard and/or ME spin-offs. Heck, why not give players the option to end ME3 with settling down with a love interest and either having a baby or adopting or genetically engineering one depending on which love interest you pick and the play that child as a young adult "Shepard"? Continue the family heritage. "Fable III" is doing precisely that so it would not be impossible to do. Providing BioWare and EA keep the now sane DRM requirements I'd buy anything BioWare release on day one based upon my familiarity with their products and reputation alone.

P.S. Some people might say that such an idea would be "milking" ME too much which may be true if you have had your fill of ME. However if there is a demand for the product, and it doesn't violate existing laws and certain ethics (and it doesn't in my opinion), then why not do it as long as there are BioWare staff members who still have an interest and enjoyment in creating ME content?

eh, to each his own.  garrus has a nice following behind him as well, but its not anywhere near the fanatical/cultist following that tali has.  most people, ive noticed, that like tali, also like garrus almost as much.

frankly, tali and garrus will ALWAYS be my two go-to guys, without a doubt.  i used them extensively in the first game, tali especially.  most people are the same way.  as such, they have more of an attachement to garrus and tali since they are carried over from the first game, and you already have a history with those two characters.

Exactly.  You already have experience from the first game with them.  I always used those two in the first game...I was overjoyed hearing that I could reunite my old teamtogether again.  Ah Tali and Garrus.  I hope for both of them to be in ME3.

You guys ever thought how sad it'll be playing a 4th game as someone new, even if it's Shepard's heir? As long term fans we'll damn will miss all the old characters and it really wouldn't be the same anymore. That's why I think it should be over at ME3, I mean if they try anything else it really wouldn't be Mass Effect anymore. ME is about Shepard, and yeah.

It'll be sad to see the story end but it'll be even sadder to see it continue while none of who we love are there. Except for like, Liara and maybe Wrex. And Morinth. And Grunt. But meh.

So I swear I read somewhere that Bioware isn't past keeping the ME universe going with more games. Just Shepard's story ends with ME3. Now if I could just find that article. Gonna go see if I can find it.

i do agree with you there.  i was a little disappointed with that lack of dialogue afterwards if you so chose to continue to wrap everything up that you potentially missed.

I agree with you and i have nothing against you, i've been flamed on a couple times by people because i'm voining my opinion (like the person who wanted the bisecual Tali a 20 pages back) and then once i say politely that i don't think its a good idea they automatically think i'm homophobic and want to ruin there lives...

Bioware made Tali Hetero so get over it, you see people in real life that you like and if they don't like you because there Hetero or ****** then you can;t just complain to their parents for making them that way...
