Nope, just that there is a limit where they will close threads. You can find the whole listing of rules here.

I also can't be sure if it's automated, or a moderator just determines when a thread has reached it's peak. If it's up to a moderator, we may be able to stretch this thread. I haven't seen mod activity in the spoiler thread in.. well, a long time. They are very quiet, at least ^^

I can appreciate where you a coming from, however in my opinion Ash wasn't as xenophobic as many have made her out to be. She was hugely distrustful of Turians to start with and from her personal perspective as a combat soldier with her family's history and the repercussions they have lived with for two generations it shouldn't be too difficult to understand why that is. If you pick the Paragon path in ME1 Ash, while never becoming a full-on "alien lover", does actually step in to defend aliens against the open racism and bigotry from the Terra Firma (or whatever it was called) political party heckling at the Citadel.

That said, Ash is a bit of a hot head but far from unintelligent and she has a soft side which can be revealed with a bit of patience and nurturing. Considering some of the horrifict experiments Ash and Shepard witnessed from Cerberus cells in ME1 it is understandable that she is quick on the trigger while Shepard, having just been brought back to life and handed the resources he needs to effectively combat a galactic threat thanks to Cerberus when the Council wouldn't and the Alliance couldn't, might be a bit more receptive to working with them at least for the time being. I agree that Ash judges and condemns Shepard unfairly on the spot yet how many of us haven't rushed to words in the heat of a moment which we later regretted? Ash sends an e-mail stating something precisely to that effect. Also, imagine being convinced that someone you loved and dared share your most intimate parts of your being with after holding out for years on end has died suddenly appears before you after two plus years? I think that qualifies as a shock capable of turning your world upside down for a great many people. Sometimes we all just need a little time to mull things over, gauge the situation and adjust. I like romancing Ash in ME1 but I always felt Tali was naturally more comfortable and charming for my personal tastes but she wasn't romanceable in ME1. Thank the powers that be, and BioWare, that Tali is now a love interest in ME2.<3:wub:

Also have  to take into consideration that the last time she saw Shephard alive was when  the   Normandy  SR1 was being blown to bits.  Two years is a long  to think someone you love is dead and have them show  to rescue you  and working for a orgi****tion  that you hate. I really like Ash i don't think she is as sallow as people make her out to be, but  in the Death is a big killer for a relationship. Screaming about Tali to be in ME3 now really wouldn't help though. They have their minds made up I'm sure... Of course we show a lot of support but if they decided there was no Tali in ME3, they'd have decided that a long time ago.

I think people need to stop brining up the thread in peticular, this is just a plce to discuss Tali in general, we shouldn't be talking about the thread. Talking about off topic posting, ironically is going off topic, let's forget and call it done. We're only showing that we like her, inspite in an obessive way for some .

Anyway, Tali will be in ME3, more so the point would be so she didn't get a lame cameo. Though, the LI's in ME1 only got a cameo in ME2 to protect the for ME3.

Tali in ME3 - 110% sure
Tali as a romance option - 100% sure
Tali as a squad member - Not so sure.

don't worry we are all sane, but  this is just a show of how well the writers of this game did getting the player emotionally invested, even on a superifcal entertainment level with the universe. Its the reason why stories like Star Wars, Star Trek,  and many last so  long  and have staying power.    And

it might be like the Star Wars games where they jump around the time eras. so maybe a new trilogy will be 100 or 200 years after the ME series and you can hear about the great achievments of Shepard or something...
