Man I loved this song at the end of ME1. Some one should make a ME1 and ME2 music video with this thing.
Oh yeah, I know. M4 Part II is great.

This, I like how her eyes glow through the mask, must look awesome without the mask if they still glow.Pathogen69 wrote...

Crazy thing just hit me. Seriously its insane.
I assume we here have all talked to Tali, extensively. When looking at her and talking to her, where do you look? I tend to realize that I am looking through the mask at the eyes and nose. After a while though I flash out and look at the mask... its like an optical illusion that confuses the eye,
Needless to say, Im curious about what you guys look at and where you focus,
nah, i stare intently at her eyes. looking at someones eyes can tell you a lot about them in fact. besides, they say the eyes allow you to see into someones soul. besides, if you look closely enough at tali during conversations, you can actually tell a lot of her eye movement, which just says a lot about the time investment spent on getting the details right. if the mask came off, game over. id get absolutely lost in the eyes, without a doubt.
in the first game, i was focused on the "flashlight" on the mask, but, ive since moved past that stage.

I think they should have made Tali say something to Fist if she is with you in Omega. Does anybody else agree?
Hmm, she doesn't? I've always spoken to him first and exhausted his cinematic dialogue so he just spits out the repeatable lines when I go back with Tali.
She definitely should have said something to him.

C'mon guys, back to the Tali discussion.
How do you think ME3 will start out, in regards to Tali?
Well, for me Tali was not exiled from her people, so maybe she'll go back. But I doubt that, because she loves my shepard and wouldn't leave the person who saw her face for the first time just for a position on the admirality board.
Well that's how mine turned up as well, however, she does state that several people were recommending her to be an admiral. I don't know if that's an oppurtunity she could pass up (cultural reasons?) but I think the best way of having her stay with you in ME3 would be exile, but I know that's what she does not want, unless it would mean outing her father. However I owned people with my paragon-ness so I don't know.
That notion has been brought up before and arguments both for and against typed out. Personally I don't think that it necessitates a "black or white" approach; long distance relationships can work to an extent (at some point steady physical interaction will be required due to physical nature being a part of our identity). Given the technology available in the ME universe it should theoretically be easier than ever for Shepard and Tali to stay in touch if they so desired. That said, here's something to consider:
You speak of essentially selfishly tying Tali to yourself (as Shepard) because you love her so much. It is an understandable reaction to fear losing those dearest to you and it is an emotion I have felt too, yet given the person that Tali is, her sweetness, her kindness, her loyalty and honesty, her intelligence, her endearing shyness leading to awkward babbling, her strength and devotion to the things and people she believes in, would you really want to actively endanger her spirit by insidiously undermining her welfare? Yes, perhaps one runs the risk of losing her as a loving partner by supporting her freedom of choice and her cultural heritage, yet isn't that what true, mature love for another - passionate or platonic - is really about? Supporting those who matter to you through thick and thin and being willing to put what you perceive as their well-being based upon what they have expressed to you of their motives and ideology above your own wants and desires for them? I'm not advocating blindly accepting everything a loved one, be it Tali or someone else, says or does. Sometimes you may find yourself in the tricky situation of gauging when it is time to intervene in another person's life for their own well being bearing in mind that any such action should always first and foremost be based upon what is in that person's best interest and not your own. What I am advocating is respect for Tali (or any other love interest both in ME and in real life) as an independent, sentient being. You've come to love her as the person she is; don't demean that by effectively enslaving her spirit borne out of your own fear/insecurity.
Just food for thought grasshopper.

I had TTali on my squad when I was doing Zaeed's loyalty mission, and there was a scene of her leaning over the railing with a waterfall in the background. Would have made a lovely picture if I could find my damn camera.
Ah, well, I still have the save.
Well then, today is your lucky day.

then i think youd like this pic. bear in mind, im not the creator of it (Alanosborn is), but i just thought it was awesome in its own right, and pretty much conveys what a lot of us thought when it happened to us.
