How many ppl hear are Tali converts? while i didn't hate her in the first, i couldn't really care less about her, though in the second, i had to take many virtual cold showers in order to not cheat on Ash (that better pay off for not romancing Tali). Same with Garrus, in ME1 was like meh!, but in ME2 we felt like old mates.
Well, as I've said before, I lost my ME1 save, so I started fresh, and the events on Horizen were pretty much a big green flashing light. It's funny, because I remember Tali being a dreadful bore to me in ME1. But something about ME2 really made me admire her, or maybe it's just cause I haven't touched ME1 for a long time

This means that I want Tali to be in ME3 as a squadmate if you keep her alive in ME2.
And honestly if you couldn't manage to save Tali you should go die.
I support Tali in ME3.

I'm pretty sure i would Disown the Mass Effect Trilogy if any major charecter died and it was'nt related to a choice i made..................

Depends on how "related" you want to get, i would be impressed, if something like, not trying to convince the quarians not to go to war, resulted in Tali's death during the Qaurian/Geth war. Don't get me wrong it would be sad, but show, a realistic feel to it.

We all know ME3 is the end of the Shepard storyline, so I'm pretty sure the romance from ME1, if you had one, will hopefully pay off in ME3.
They are the only really stable options that would allow you to mate/procreate. I mean Jack is pretty psycho and I can't imagine her being thrilled to have a baby or settle down. I don't even know if Miranda is able to have kids, being almost entirely artificial and constructed from male DNA she may well be sterile. As far female options... Jacob is the only human romance option in ME2, so you figure between Alenko, Liara, and Jacob a person playing a 100% 'straight' Shepard will choose Alenko or Jacob. Liara is the only sort of 'lesbian' option in the ME universe so far, so there will be alot of people taking that root. Barring that, they probably do something important to the story like save Shepard's life or something.

Oh trust me, I agree completely. I just hope that if one of them does have to die, I can at least be a part of it. Not random, and not just a part of the canon plot. To me it works better if the player has the choice, since every player views the story different. Best example: Some people agree that destroying the collector ship is the right thing, while others argue it's a stupid mistake. There is a whole topic about it on the first page.noisecode wrote...
That is a choice i hope i NEVER have to make.
So obviously people feel very differently about things, and this is a game that emphasizes player choice and unique story based on those choices. To some people party members might not be as important on the whole scope of the trilogy as far as canon is concerned.. But for someone like me, I need to know I can protect Tali ../../../images/forum/emoticons/sideways.png
I wont settle for an option where she dies no matter what.

No. I used Tali in my six ME playthroughs the second I got her. Though I would jumble between Wrex and Garrus in each, I never fully understood why Tali was never a love interest in the first one

I wouldn't put too much stock into the release date on Wikipedia. If you read the lines, it is pretty circular logic and guesswork, lol. I do think they can release it quicker than two years, as two years is quite awhile in gaming development (unless you are Valve).
Yeah seriously...Don't get the infamous Valve Time.... How long has it been since their last release of Half life 2 Episode 2? I've been waiting too long!!!
Mass Effect 2 still kicks more ass. I am extremely pleased. They should release DLC for extra Dialouge for after the campaign...I don't like recycled lines.

I'm just glad she was in the second one. And I'm glad there are some new characters cool enough to be able to stand next to both Wrex and Garrus.
Used Tali in ME1 as well. She was one of the first love interests I believe but was cut early in development because they thought the quarian design would unappealing to the fanbase (not 100% sure on this).

but ya, if tali died due to stupidity on my part, well, thats my own damn fault. however, if she went the way of "mordin randomly dying for no apparent reason" then id become this hate filled monster out for vengeance.

But I hope there isn't one. Mass Effect 2 let you play out their destiny. Everything was entirely up to you. If you do things right, you'll save them all. Maybe in ME3 you will need to do things right too.
What if they make missions like Virmire dynamic, and if you do them right everything will be ok but with certain failures may come sacrifices, or difficult choices such as who to chose to leave behind?

But yeah they did outdo themselves. Seriously. You love (GOOD) her or you hate (BAD) her. She is compelling.

But seriously, I will be so sad if they don't. But they will. As a squaddie.
Well...There will be liability issues...I'll cover the paper work!

She survived all of my endings on ME2, mostly because I chose not to include her in dangerous tasks.. to protect her. When it comes down to Legion or Tali taking a shot in the face, there is no question. I like Legion, but.. he's not Tali.
