Well, in ME2 i did get some renegade points as well, but mostly while taking to TIM.

as ive noticed with a lot of bioware games, its harder to be the good guy and ignore all those impulses of shoving an imni-tool in someones back, than it is to be the renegade.  this is why i usually tend to be a paragon/good guy in most games such as this.  aside from the fact that paragon more closely fits my personal demeanor more than anything else.

I thought the engineering staff quibs and comments were some of the most entertaining aboard the Normandy. It seemed clear to me that Kenneth Donelly was horsing around while also showing his appreciation for female assets. It was even more clear to me that Tali did not feel threatened nor was even remotely interested, but rather rolling her eyes at his comments. The two engineers made a great duo, in my opinion.

Apparently I am. I'm methodical (and at times relentless) like that. No harm intended, yet between catching up to speed and the bombardment of new posts I'm a bit strained in regards to staying squarely on top of the latest posts without passing up the old ones. I'd prefer not to do that though if the strain increases that may be what will happen. Regardless, some of the more recent posts before this one (which is now several hours old) were quite silly in my opinion. I have no problem with people goofing around and having a laugh but I didn't think they contributed much to the actual main body of this thread. Therefore I prefer to respond to some of the posts that seemed more interesting to me at least even if they are older.

But while I'm thinking of that, who knows if they'll show any party members right away.. Assuming any number of them could be dead. They may focus on Shepard for teasers, like they did with ME2.

hmm.. well since the majority of the game, unlike ME2, won't be about gathering a squad(at least I hope not) I fully expect them to reveal who will be aiding us much earlier this time. As for E3, I think that will be about a major ME2 DLC pack or something. Earliest I think we will hear about ME3 is a fall gaming convention.

I wouldn't put it past them to be hush, hush, about tali as a squadmate until release though. However, that might cause everyone to panic. So I really don't know.

Given her popularity, I wouldn't be surprised if this time around they try to pull a Legion or Garrus with her and keep her concealed as long as possible.

I think they may play up the return of Kaidan, Ashley, and Liara.

I've never been able to do more than lean one way or the other. In ME1, paragon or renegade, Fist died. Balak died. But I was always nice to Tali, and always gave her the data.

It would be indeed. There would not be anything else that would get the forums buzzing like Tali.
But yeah, they probably will go with Shepard again. Hehe, that doesnt meant that they couldnt give a small teaser for us Tali fans.

I have tried being a renegade and it is really hard for me. I just can't do a renegade dialogue.

I cant even make myself evil. Heh, even my girlfriend was saying why am i such a goody-two-shoes. But that is just me. I might pop in few renegade choices/answers, but they are really rare.

i havent used a SINGLE renegade interrupt yet on any of my playthroughs.  i just cant bring myself to do it.  there have been a couple times where i was close, but, i just couldnt commit fully to it.

anyways, we seem to be sidetracking just a little.

Yeah, i never feel good about them. That is why i left Fits alive, that is why i let Balak go to save the prisoners. 
That is why i always try to talk my way out of a situation before i start shooting.

I'm usoually renegade to everybody but Tali. Somethings said in renegade to tali are good tho. Like saying you'd help her build a house on her home planet together. That was sweet. You basicly said you'd marry her right there. Surprised she didn't catch onto it like that or really question you about what you really mean by it. But I think the hug and how you talk about her alot in genral as in, I did this for Tali not you. Tali this Tali everything I'd always point out cus I love the girl. She says she got you. After the trial its pretty ovious she wants you.

SO I can have one character each, plus some that are me.

Renegade character can look sweet though...wonder why Tali doesn't comment...

I think we should endorse the idea of tali and shepard getting married and living on the homeworld together. as far as i can tell, everyone seems to like the idea, so why not?
