The irony of my romance with Liara coming back to bite me in the ass is that I only romanced her because Tali wasn't an option. At the time, I didn't even know there was going to be a Mass Effect 2 or that I'd be carrying over a save.

So if it bites me in the ass, I am going to be pissed!

I loved Tali since ME1, and now that I discovered how cute she is (to the point of giving a name to her freaking combat drone), I can't stand without the quarian princess, hahahah.

In all fairness regarding Ash sending an e-mail, you are aboard a top-secret state-of-the-art private spaceship that the Alliance military (whom she still serves) has absolutely no control over. How else is she supposed to contact you while you are off galvanizing around the galaxy?

Stay loyal to the other goons that people calle LI's in ME1 is a more daunting dask than defeating the reapers will be. At least with Tali out there, I mean come on people, it was totally worth it, to break the loyality even if you were planning on it.

My theory about the ME1 romance coming back to haunt you is pretty valid.

I think that the ME2 romance will find out you cheated on the ME1 romance with them and they'll think you're a monster.

Miranda would love you for it. (Since she's arrogant)
Tali though, who knows. She's all about loyalty and seemed to be excited that Shepard was her "first".

Simple fix for that, just replay ME1 without a romance.....problem solved.
And i'd rather have Tali as my first too, though it's almost like her personality comes across as lets wait till were married for the deed, except well she doesn't. Needless to say, pleasantly surprised i was.

Yeah, well, suicide mission? May not get another chance? Love can wait but sometimes there is no way to do so.

Any sufficiently talented kitbasher could find a way to make Tali's visor both transparent and put a "face" behind it (as much as we see in-game, anyway.)

I know as soon as she comes out there will be mad custom Tali's on ebay with remade visors.  This is not the final though.  We will just have to wait and see what shows up in August.  I wonder if they will show the toys at Dragon Con this year.

I wanted to throw this out there, and this seems to be as good a place as any (Tali forever, by the way):



The child-rearing situation for the Quarians is grim as all hell. First, though the game doesn't touch on it, I bet the infant mortality rate is horrific, given the weak immune systems.



Second, we no know that the children are placed in the "bubble" a sterile environment after birth. Thus, separation from parents (who remain suited and probably continue their own business with the fleet. Definitely, in the case of Tali's father). I assume there are adult Quarians who are full-time bubble inhabitants just to care for all the children.



The stuff Admiral Raan says about Tali's birth tore me up because it rang so true. When my daughter was born she howled like a banshee every time she wasn't being held by my wife or I.

You and me both in regards to actually experiencing the emotion of missing Tali (and the ME world/team in general). I'm not convinced it warrants having a shrink examine my head however.

Lol I love the hug scene. When I looked at the picture above I suddenly was able to imagine what her suit feels like when you hug her (you get that sometimes, you know). It somehow feels like her clothes aren't too tight on that part.

God, what am I talking about, I'm already hallucinating.

I keep hearing this, and because I don't feel like sifting through the near 200 pages of posts to find more info, why do some people sound like it's already announced that Tali won't be making a big reappearance/is being killed off in ME3?

Agreed. That is most certainly not the way forward I desire for Tali's and Shepard's romance, but it would allow for a plausible reason for Tali to leave the Normandy in the middle of ME3 only to return again later. I'm not convinced that will even be the case nor that it is necessary. Besides, there are other ways to justify such action but it is one take on it.

I will be gutted if Tali isn't a viable full-time party member and romance interest in ME3. I have faith yet that BioWare will deliver though.

When I beat ME2, I couldn't get enough of Tali. This thread, created by the gay warden, has helped me vent and help satisfy my needs. And for that gay warden, I thank you for allowing me to have a voice in this forum. At last, I found others like me. Tali forever.
