I fell in love with her as one reason like that out of countless numbers. LOLGarlador wrote...

More than Ashley, more than Miranda, Tali seems genuinely in love with Shepard. She is too sweet!
That's because she is. No other romantic partner pursues YOU. Poor Tali's apparently been crushing on you for over two years but never acted on it because Shepard was too much of an idiot to realize it (and by default, I guess I'm an idiot too...). All the other romantic options force you to slave away and win their affection and "earn" their loyalty and love... but with Tali the roles are reversed and she's trying to win YOU.

Oh ok, I can imagine it had something to do with a drawing or fanfic. That stuff is way too much for me. I'm not in love with the character, she's just my favorite part of the Mass Effect fiction. I just want to stress to Bioware that Tali is worth making DLC for. That's what I'll keep posting in this thread for. The adoration stuff is a bit extreme.SgTKilmor wrote...

What happened 30 pages ago, SgTKilmor?
Well it was around 30 pages ago, but I don't want to mention it. Lets just say someone broke a few forum rulesLitos456 wrote...
No offence to anyone but man I kinda hate when people make anime style drawings of Tali. But I do hate anime in general. And associating it with Tali disgusts me...
I kind of do too, but, The drawing it's self is good. With a mask it would be great
I concur. While I do find myself experiencing strong and very real human emotions for Tali, some of the adoration comments seem to me to be little more than thread "fillers". I also suspect that many of them are made by younger fans. Nothing wrong with being younger and enthusiastic (heck, I'm younger than many people around the world I'm sure) but I do notice a clear schism in the perceived maturity levels.
Now for a segway to Tali regarding maturity: BioWare has done a good job subtly changing Tali's physique to look more developed and womanly as opposed to girlish. Her character's presence also seems more mature and experienced upon first encountering her at Freedom's Hope. She seemed far more confident (without being cocky) to me when we rendezvous with her at Haestrom.
I think that her voice may have sounded a but deeper as well, totally agree with your post.

You must speak to her first about your encounter with her, then it's possible to call her up.

Liara's got an excuse. Ash does not. And sends an email to apologise. An email.
TIM probably was trying to isolate you from your past so he could convince you to out-and-out join cerberus.
WELL: The first part worked.
And then Tali walked in...and I couldn't resist...
My original intent WAS to stay loyal...
The Talimance drew me in...
In all fairness regarding Ash sending an e-mail, you are aboard a top-secret state-of-the-art private spaceship that the Alliance military (whom she still serves) has absolutely no control over. How else is she supposed to contact you while you are off galvanizing around the galaxy?
Stay loyal to the other goons that people calle LI's in ME1 is a more daunting dask than defeating the reapers will be. At least with Tali out there, I mean come on people, it was totally worth it, to break the loyality even if you were planning on it.

I like to think it was my charm, ahem i mean shepard's charm of course
I could totally pull those lines off. Trust me.
.....Who am I kidding? lol
I think that was an excellent move for Bioware to put her as the leader in the relationship, cuz it might have taken me a bit longer to catch onto the fact there actually was a romance.
Yeoman Kelly tells you she has a thing for Shepard.

Frequent visits to the user profile tend to help the update to get forward in the update queue. One can open his own profile from in-game (DA:O) and/or simply clicking own avatar picture. The visits really help - my record character upload was 49 minutes, although it can really take several days as well.crimsoncobra57 wrote...
It can take quite some time.. It's hard to pin down. It can be as fast as a few hours, or as long as a week. When I first got Dragon Age at release, my characters didn't show up for about a month. This one (the one I am using now) updated within a day, because I did the work at night, and it was on the site in the morning.Admiral-165 wrote...
how long does it take for the avatar to upload to the site usually?
All you can do is wait, and hope for the best :/

I feel it's bit more sensual than what Tali represent, but that doesn't deduct anything from the artistic achievement.

I actually didn't really care for Tali in ME1. She was essentially a walking quarian codex. I mean, I used her in my squad and thought what she had to say about the quarians was really interesting, but I think ME2 did a good job of making me a Tali-fan. They really made her a stronger character, her loyalty mission was especially powerful!
Yes, yes, blasphemous that I wasn't a Talimancer from the start.
I was on the same boat, man.
What I don't get is the appeal of Tali FROM ME1 that led Bioware to make her romancable in the sequel. Was DEM HIPS really enough for some folk?
