If by "the person behind it" you mean the voice actor Liz Sroka, then my answer is "the character". I know next to nothing about Liz Sroka's character/personality nor her background.

Though you have to admit that the voice does have an impact on the character. I mean, it wouldn't quite be Tali without Liz Sroka's voice. Though I'll admit I obviously don't know or care to know anything about her.

Certainly. It is difficult to imagine Tali with a different voice now after having taken such a liking to Liz Sroka's voice work for Tali. Yet Liz is not Tali and Tali is not Liz; perhaps Liz might be like Tali which could make some fella (or gal I suppose) very lucky indeed, but she might also be unlike Tali personality wise.

It might be interesting to see if we would hold a similar opinion of Tali if someone else had done a different style of voice work for Tali yet kept the personality the same. It could go either way, but short of it being a horrendously grating voice and presuming we are being truthful with ourselves when we state that Tali's main attraction is her personality, it shouldn't change the outcome too drastically theoretically speaking.

P.S. I see that Pathogen69 expressed similar sentiments.

Agreed. Besides, I want the dope straight from the horses mouth as it were. That means that BioWare and it's ME project staff members are the only people that have the legitimate authority to establish ME canon, including how Tali's visage appears. I have my own fantasy but I don't want to be left with the rather unsatisfying position of filling in the blanks for myself on this occassion. A full facial reveal of Tali and nothing less will be required to placate me. Love it or hate it in regards to her face, I would rather see Tali completed (which includes seeing her face in my world) than be left high and dry with an unsatisfactory empty mystery where I have little chance of accurately deducing what Tali and the Quarians look like. The fact that BioWare staff have gone on record stating that they already have the details as to how Tali's face looks only serves to make the thought of no face reveal even more intolerable to me.

Since this thread moved at a brisk pace earlier I am unsure whether you caught my response. I too found military training easy and for the most part enjoyable. I spent 16 weeks in boot camp training to become a grenadier in my home country's Royal Guard (part of the Royal Army). The Royal Guard regiments tend to have a much higher morale in my home country than other regular units and are considered the best regular troops available (special forces are another matter entirely). It's good to meet a fellow veteran regardless of which colours you served under.

And what do you think about her new suit in ME2? She looks much more mature, as they commented it also in ME2 Art Book. Though she was always that kind of person, extraordinary, exotic and most importantly with ideal and kind personality. It is just that in ME1 they focused mostly on character of Liara. We had not many chances to know her well.

I haven't gotten that option yet despite saving the entire Normandy crew and bringing everyone of my active team members back alive, having turned down Miranda (Jack is still in limbo apparently) and confirming my love for Tali (and consumating it).  I continued game and got the option, you do have to talk to your LI once after completeing the mission to get the option though

Thanks for the feedback. I have though! Numerous times. Tali's comment about it being "so worth it" is so cute and naughty simultaneously. After that it reverts to the dialogue where Tali nervously lets me know that she understands if I want to be with someone else that's closer to home, but that she wouldn't mind if I'm still interested followed by a sublimely vulnerably "if you are still interested, that is?" - in other words: It is the exact same dialogue that took place before you confirm you want her and trigger the captain's cabin lover's moment. It seems to be stuck in a loop.

The intercom to call up Tali is right next to the personal computer in Shepard's cabin. It's easy to miss.

Nicely done sir (I presume). That had me genuinely invested in her as a character. I could relate to her wistful longing for the attention of the person she loves, and I felt heart wrenching sympathy for her humiliation in public. You managed to pluck at my heart strings.

I'm pretty sure there are at least 3 or 4 of us working on some right now. Idk if mine is gonna be worth reading, but I'm sure the others will be.
