Btw Pathogen, thanks for sharing part of your story in regards to your earlier comments about serving in the Navy. Since this thread moved at a brisk pace earlier I am unsure whether you caught my response. I too found military training easy and for the most part enjoyable. I spent 16 weeks in boot camp training to become a grenadier in my home country's Royal Guard (part of the Royal Army). The Royal Guard regiments tend to have a much higher morale in my home country than other regular units and are considered the best regular troops available (special forces are another matter entirely). It's good to meet a fellow veteran regardless of which colours you served under.

i dont think i saw.  now you make me wanna go back and take a gander at it....

You are of course welcome to do so, however given the quagmire that is this thread where it concerns locating past posts, coupled with the fact that most of what I wrote back then has been rewritten above, there may not be much need for you to do so. :)

Question for you and anyone else: Once you have invited Tali up to the captain's cabin after the end game, is there a way to re-trigger the option that pops up at the end of the game immediately upon returning to the restored Normandy? I'd like to continue with my current Shepard in a second play through with all his skills and gear.

I'm pretty sure there are at least 3 or 4 of us working on some right now. Idk if mine is gonna be worth reading, but I'm sure the others will be.

Otherwise here's a site with a lot of them. Check them out. Some have reviews.

Thanks for help :D

Does anyone have a scan of the artbook page on the Quarians? I've heard they have the concept art for what they look like under the suit, though given the Asari where changed a fair bit, its not the actual way they look under the suit.

That concept is for the Drell species, not the Quarians, it just happens to be on the same page.

Oh really? Heh, well, ok, looks like I was lied too then. Thanks for clearing that up. I recall reading in the codex somewhere in ME1 they evolved from primates too, so it would make sense for them to look similar to us.

Maybe they'll never unmask the quarians. Keep us guessing all the way through.

I suspect they will never let us see under the mask - just like Valve will never really explain who the G-man is beyond "Interstellar Beraucrat."

Ah, man, my male just got far enough to where Mordin gave him "the talk", as if hooking up with Tali wasn't worth it by itself. XD

I just went through the ME2 artbook that came with my Collector's Edition and it only had two images related to Quarians; both were of Tali in her usual outfit (in different colour schemes). I don't know if there are any other art books that might give a clue, yet apparently in the ME novel "Ascension" some of the Quarians physical traits are hitned at. I haven't read any of the ME books myself yet, so I am unable to verify to what extent this may be true.

It's also much easier for them, when you think about it. If they made a face or body that the fans didn't like, people wouldn't like the quarians as much. It's part of the mystery.

That's big dilemma. Keep it secret or reveal it...

Hehe, no worries ;) As for me.... I dunno. I would like a reveal, but if I don't like what's under there, I'll find it hard to look at Tali and just see the mask anymore, heh. But I really wanna see under there!

i refer you to my previous statement on this subject good sir:

"some are for not even seeing her
face at all in me3.  but, if they do, i think it should just be a
dialogue option so that both parties are happy.  i have faith that
bioware will not disappoint."

as well as this one:

well, thats the biggest problem facing bioware atm with regards to this
subject. bioware KNOWS what tali looks like underneath, theyd be
retarded if they didnt. but, everyone already has this preconceived
notion of what they THINK she looks like, that anything bioware releases
will either be met with "good job bioware!! im glad i waited" or "you
guys suck!!! totally ruined the long wait!!"

Hmm. It seems you've put more thought into it then I have, but our point is the same.

Page 12 (the page you were referring to, i believe)
Page 13 (it's clear that the sketch on p.12 is the start of the Drell design and has nothing to do with Quarians)
