That is not satisfactory to me. Not at all and I will be most put out, even outright disgusted, if that is what unfolds....However, I do not expect BioWare to crap all over a substantial part of their fanbase on quite such a massive scale. It isn't impossible that they might pull such a stunt but I dearly hope they don't - it would be beyond disappointing.

But what happened was someone told me that their was a picture of the Quarians outside their suits with hair, sort of like the 'Klingon' style of hair. However, how I see the pages, its pretty clear he was a bull-poo-er, heh

I suspect they will never let us see under the mask - just like Valve will never really explain who the G-man is beyond "Interstellar Beraucrat."

That's a big "if" though since a "HL3" might end up in the works. At least with the G-man you know what his face looks like! Ugh. The anticipation for a Tali face reveal is getting to me. hahahaha

i can assure you i didnt put much forethought into either of those two responses.  both are just general realizations that ive arrived at after reading numerous posts regarding whether or not bioware will show talis face.  im still kind of a swing vote atm.  part of me wants to see her face, but, part of me doesnt.  and i can see both sides of the argument.  both sides have presented logical and concise reasons for both cases.  but, its all in the hands of bioware, and i think to reach that "happy middle ground," the only option is to have it as a dialogue option, plain and simple.

you are not alone.  i admit, i did it too for that very reason.  i rushed through my first playthrough to see the ending.  i didnt really pay much attention to all the details inbetween.  but, second time around, i took my time, and came to realize just how much tali had "matured" as a character from the first game, and thats when i became a true tali fan.

As in any of the first planets your main missions are at.

oh, then ya, i believe its possible.  gl with that endeavor btw.  i know on my last playthrough on my last me1 toon, i completed my second playthrough with 10k xp left to go before i hit lvl 60.  i was pissed.  so, i just loaded up a save, and typed in a cheat code for free xp, and bumped up to 60 (sorry, i didnt wanna go through a THIRD playthrough on the same toon just get 10k xp and a lvl 60 "completed" save) then put saren in his place.

It's also much easier for them, when you think about it. If they made a face or body that the fans didn't like, people wouldn't like the quarians as much. It's part of the mystery.

I comprehend the logic behind that argument yet I reject it nonetheless. As other posters have pointed out elsewhere, it's not as though BioWare have been unable to create aliens that aren't generally considered attractive by current Western standards. Example: the Asari - I think Samara looks smoking hot and I like her character and its potential. While I most certainly have a vested interest in seeing BioWare reveal Tali's face, it nonetheless strikes me as a false negative to claim that Tali's face should not be revealed because it might not live up to everyone's expectations. Following that mentality we might as well never do anything with even minimally uncertain outcomes nor pursue anything that we think might bring us enjoyment. In short: It is an overly cautious mentality that promotes mediocrity in my opinion. Dare to dream, dare to have vision and have the fortitude and courage to pursue both. BioWare have already demonstrated time and time again in various games that they are capable of creating appealing characters - both personality wise and physically speaking. This includes aliens.

Besides, not revealing Tali's face is guaranteed to rattle the cages of what I suspect to be a significant amount of ME fans. I don't subscribe to the notion that BioWare should always heed every single fan desire, but given the build-up in ME1 and ME2 (especially in ME2! Shepard has seen Tali's face and since Shepared is supposed to be an extension of me in the game I should be granted that same experience; to do otherwise breaks the immersion), and taking in to account that ME3 will be the final ME game featuring Shepard (as it stands at least), what harm could it possibly do to reveal Tali's face that would outpace the harm that is bound to arise if they don't? Heck, as some have suggested BioWare could even make it a dialogue option as to whether or not a player wants to see Tali's face. That way both parties can conclude the ME trilogy the way they prefer with Tali. Given the copious amounts of dialogue and cut-scenes BioWare is already likely working with it probably wouldn't kill them to create an extra two options in one conversation with Tali.

Guess time will tell. Personally the ME trilogy will not be satisfactorily concluded if I don't get a clear view of Tali's face and such an outcome would greatly cheapen the so far immense appeal and appreciation I have for BioWare's ME universe. I'd hate to see that become tarnished.

P.S. I have a flimsy and vague flash image of bits and pieces of what Tali's face might look like in my mind's eye at best. While I know myself well enough to acknowledge whether I would feel pleased or displeased with Tali's face as designed by BioWare once I see it (hopefully), I simply do not have sufficient data to compile anything even remotely resembling a complete pre-conception of what she looks like. All the more reason to have the truth of the matter revealed by the creators of Tali.

they wouldnt lock it for anything negative.  thus far, this thread has been pretty civil (for the most part).  the only reason theyd lock it is because of the insane page count on it.  but, if it was locked, im sure another would sprout up in its place in a couple minutes, and the cycle would begin anew.

hmm, just finished a playthrough trying to get myself killed but I managed to make it out with just me and Tali. We have the ship all to ourselves once I kick the crew out.

Edit: Aw f*** where did Samara come from... I thought she died at the door with Miranda.

Although for a story to be engaging it has to contain highs and lows.... Be prepared for some conflict and hard decisions come ME3.
