Because I am going for skiing for a week. It would be shame if they block it...

they wouldnt lock it for anything negative.  thus far, this thread has been pretty civil (for the most part).  the only reason theyd lock it is because of the insane page count on it.  but, if it was locked, im sure another would sprout up in its place in a couple minutes, and the cycle would begin anew.

rumor mill has it that bioware is going all out on the the third installment (as they should).  in what regards, i cannot say, but thats just what ive heard.  since they dont have to spend time redoing the combat system and graphics, they have more time to focus on the story and the character develpments within.  i guess we shall see if there is any truth to those rumors (crosses fingers).

ill just load up one of my lvl 50 me characters about 1/2 way through the game that way i dont have to do EVERYTHING over again.

I rented ME1 a week before ME2 came out to get my lvl 35 character who already beat it to be full paragon and be nice to everyone but nuke Ashley cause she is alien racist lol.



Came into ME2 importing a lvl 60 paragon male shephard, it was AWESOME

Already had such a thing in mind - at least a faithful relationship - last time I went through all the effort of completing Mass Effect 1... So... my Sentinel is safe.

haha.... I actually felt bad for choosing Liara for my ME1 LI, because I was interesting in only Tali the entire game. Liara was my fall back girl.

I'm doing it currently.  It isn't that bad.
The main worlds take a while, but as long as you don't do any collecting quests, speed through most of the dialogue, and head straight for the objectives when driving the Mako, the sidequesting doesn't take too long, and there are several that you can skip that have ZERO effect on ME2.  The whole game is do-able, even doing every sidequest (including BDtS), in proabably 17-20 hours max of relatively dedicated gaming.
