100% support.
I am also a "convert."
Tali and Garrus became my two favorite characters.

I remember reading through the Tali love threads on the other boards. I like how several of the things discussed there ended up making it into the game somehow, like the "quarians can't get alien diseases but still get allergic reactions to the alien bacteria" thing. That was talked about both by that one quarian on Illium and by Tali later on.

It's like, I look at the thread... months and months later, it's like deja vu. It was awesome.

you know i wonder if she will be able to be "Romanced" in ME3, if you didn't in ME2?

edit: Cos in terms of progamming and development, that would be a real headache, not impossible, but a lot more work for who knows how much reward.

I'm not sure they should, because I don't see the point of playing ME3 if you haven't played ME2 or ME1. I understand starting with ME2, but starting on ME3? I just don't see the point.

I just hope that the conclusion to your romance will be epic. Also, make each LI ending totally different. This is the only game that I actually cared about the romance plot.

Hell, I remember a scene where Tali ****es Garrus out just for having too much fun.

And as far as the quarian thing goes, she was only worth talking to just to learn about the quarians and the flotilla, but I was never interested in her ACTUAL character. Now that there are actual quarians hanging around in ME2, and now that you can see the actual flotilla, she needs a bit more than "She's a quarian!" to make her cool.

Garrus is a primer on paragon/renegade and is pretty much a stereotypical "loose cannon" cop who is too angsty. Wrex is fun, but also terribly one note angry character who just wants to kill. Tali was closer to sharing the player's perspective in the game, because it was like she was seeing these things for the first time like the player was.

I think meeting her on her pilgrimage, helping her out with that and her sticking it out with you, and then having her character share a lot of tragic or harrowing experiences beside Shepard in ME2 give her the most depth of any character in the series. Garris is a close second because he was amazing in ME2 as well and much more well-rounded.

Tali and Garrus are pretty much the co-stars of the ME series now. And I think Tali in particular has been crafted and written amazingly.

I think you should replay ME1, because it's obvious you never even had an actual conversation with wrex at all.

Did you even see him in ME2? C'mon, man.

I totally agree with you. I want the romance subplots to pay off in there own way. I personally want to be able to live with Tali on the homeworld of the quarians.

Yeah, I goota agree with 77 here. garrus and especially wrex are awesome. There's no need to bring down other charachters just because you like Tali. That's "How to get people to hate you" 101.

The problem with Wrex is in ME1 he says that what the Krogan need to be doing is bunker down and concentrate on rebuilding and mating.  He tried to be a leader once but it didn't work out.  After his journey with Shepard, Wrex's resolve was tempered and decided to give leadership another try.  Of all the ME1 characters that were doing other things his seemed the most in character.

i was thinking the same thing, like you build that house for her that her father was planning to build. Lol, wonder what Liara's would be? Continue studying ancient civilizations, or take the place of the shadow broker. Don't know what she wants to do since on ME2 she as so distracted with her mission. I hated her attitude at first, then found out who saved shepard..I bawwed a little inside. Need, to replay ME1 so as not to cheat on Liara with Tali.

I mean't it's a thread similar to the Garrus one, but with Tali. Suprising that it's gotten 20 pages. Or maybe it isn't suprising at all.

All things considered, unless there is a major plot element that would be broken by Tali's presence for some reason, she will likely be back in ME3 as a squad mate. Why? Because Bioware listens to its fans. There was an astounding support for a Tali love interest before ME2's release, and it came. Everyone hated the Mako, so it was taken out. They hated elevators, so those were replaced.

Considering the fact that Tali-related threads have been even more prolific since ME2's release than the HK-47 threads were during KOTOR's heyday, it would truly surprise me if they didn't include Tali as a squad mate.

Oh, okay. Understood.

I like this thread. It just keeps going and going and going...

And it's about Tali. I hope for a happy ending...for all LIs for that matter.

Tali must return as an LI and squadmember.

I really hope we can get some more Tali content through DLC in Mass Effect 2. Tali fanservice would be more than welcomed, Bioware!

Yes. There's a very high probability that the ME2 cast will return in ME3, though I've already said this a lot. I'm sort of suprised Wrex wasn't a squad member in ME2, seeing on how many people loved him.

Garrus is a fan favorite, but i think Tali trumps him. Hence the explosion of pages.......and we also have a few people who are helping this page to the top of page 1 periodically Image IPB, of course it's only to state my opinion or to further the discussion.

But in all actuality Both garrus and Tali are guaranteed to be written in as squad mates whether or not they died in peoples saves. Cuz by now, or within the month most people will have a save where everyone survived, or at least the characters that people wanted to survive. So i think we're not going to be dissapointed.

But hey, in the off chance the don't want to write them back in we're here to support our favorite characters, we're being vocal! Image IPB

Honestly, although I would love this, it would be kinda overkill. Tali's Recruitment and Loyalty missions are Longer and more Story-related than anyone else's in the game.

DLC should be fair to everyone, such as the last charachter(kasumi), or a mission related to/continuing Bring Down the Sky.
