Liara... *Yawn*

I'm the only hater here huh?
Nice to be notice but are you stupid or what?
First off I don't hate her.
As I've stated she's just a good friend and you all are weird about her being a love interest. Get over it you got what you wanted but posting over 202 pages over something like this is kind of pathetic.

all I said was bull**** because it's not all filled with rainbows and sunshines for your beloved Tali post.
I'm sure I'm not the first to say it's wierd you can give her a running nose and a headache when in the books it states you can not do such thing with her kind.

Would you mind telling us where does it say this? I've been lucky enough to have read the books and there's no such thing. Enlighten me, please.
Thanks in advance, mate.

To make a Chappelle quote...
YOU CAN`T DENY IT BIOWARE, TALI IS TOO REAL FOR YA!!!
lol

No srsly all this attraction to Tali shows how good BioWare is when it comes to character development and not just Tali. I liked pretty much all of the characters in ME2 except for Jack(a little over the top imo...) and we hopefully see every character back in ME3.

So I´d like to say thanks again 4 Talimance because it´s always a great thing when devs listen to the fans. Oh and I guess Tali in ME3 is a sure thing, 202+ pages is just TOO REAL FOR YA!!:D

I hope your thread does get shut down which it will just like most threads that have over a certain amount.

You Tali boys and girls are like ps3 fanboys crazy and just not right.

But hey, I'll let you all enjoy attacking what I have to say since you can't get past your love for a virtual character.

I remember the first time I played ME2 and I discovered the Talimance, I was already knee-deep in Jack so I said I didn't feel the same way and after realizing I had broken Tali's heart I had to reload and break it off with Jack. Tali is just too cute and moving to say no to. <3

I wonder how they're gonna work out the Thane Romance. I'm sure they'll carry the romanceables over but ME3 would either have to be shortly or immediately after ME2 or a cure will have to be made.

Well...forum is a forum. A place for expressing ones opinion, but this topic was made for one purpose. Tali is just someone worth 203 pages ^^

I would imagine getting her exiled ensures that she'll stay on the Normandy, but at the same time it might also exclude the Quarians as potential allies.

And since Tali CAN be killed in ME2, it follows that she will not be a major character in ME3. This is not what I want, but it seems to be the obvious route. If she survives in your game she'll have a cameo: Tali will return to the migrant fleet to take her father's place on the admiralty board.
...Now I'm depressed.

I really don't think so.  Almost every character can be dead now, except for Liara.
They are NOT going to come up with an entirely new cast and relegate everyone else to cameos.  There are many good reasons for this.
1) It would be more work to invent a lot of new characters rather than simply including continuations for the previous ones, even if not all of them are seen by some players (just increases replay value anyway)
2) It makes almost all of the choices and quests we undertake in ME2 completely meaningless
3) Bioware is a developer than builds RPGs on the backs of its stellar characters; removing all the characters that we've gotten to know and love decreases players emotional involvement in the story.
4) It doesn't make sense, story-wise, that the loyal crew you spent a whole game building would simply leave.
5) This is a trilogy, and the last chapter of a trilogy is typically about resolution.  The final battle happens and the relationships between the characters are worked out.  This is not the time to be starting up new relationships.
6) There has already apparently been an interview where a Bioware dude said to expect the same characters, maybe with a couple new faces

I agree. I did'nt make her exiled beacuse i thought "Hey maybe tali loves Shepard to much to just abandon him".
Probably she will have the quarians to help Shepard.

The keyword there being "sometime". Given that Tali has just discovered her father's death some 20 seconds before that hug I'd say it's early days yet. Sometimes a person needs to just sit down after falling off the proverbial horse, take some time to regain their breath and resolve before getting back up again. There's nothing wrong with that in my opinion though realities on the ground might make it impractical, if not outright dangerous, to take the time to mourn.

That's neither here nor there though; it's a truly beautiful cinematic moment when you select the Paragon interruption at that point in the game. It rivals, and even surpasses, many Hollywood blockbuster moments in my opinion.

I agree, most people spend weeks, if not months mourning on a peticular death, which is understandable, if it's there blood, or they deeply cared for that person, or well, both. I don't watch many movies, so I'll take your word for it. But I did feel something at that point. Most I thought wouldn't feel.

I thought the same. It is always good thing to have army of quarians at your side :) Just like in case of geth. Who knows...I think they will join Shepard in war against Reapers.
Plus, Tali can't be abandoned!

current trend states that if you romanced her they will drop her from the main plot

Well... They protected the LIs with cameos in ME2 for ME3... ME3 is the last, the final fight. Honestly, (I've said this too many times) We don't even need a new cast. This large one is perfectly fine, We're familiar with these ones, we like them (well most of them) and it would be a shame to just throw them away. Sure, a few new additions would be solid, but a whole new cast is what most of the community doesn't want.

Also, I think you mean, if they can be romanced, not if they are. Image IPB

Bioware should make a Halo style FPS where you play as Kal'Reegar and single-handedly take back the homeworld from the geth and then defeat the reapers.

I never tried to get her exiled, but I didn't get the option to rally the crowed, because I didn't talk to anyone right before fighting the geth. I didn't have enough Paragon either, and I had to choose the best option. Though, I'm wondering what I should do on my second playthrough.
