I think we all care on some level, we all would like to think we are not superficial, but yes I think we all care on some level that she looks modestly attractive. It may be less for some and more for others but don't delude yourself, we all hope she is attractive on some level.

Pretty sure he never said this, he always stated if you died that was the end of YOUR Shepard's story.

Well, yes, I know, but doesn't mean she's pretty. I mean, she probably will be, and regardless that's not my point, my point/question was: Is there anyone else that just don't really care how she looks?

I don't care how she looks. I love her for her personality and nothing else. But I wonder how many people will convert just because she is hot if they show her face.

I'm a tali fan, I would be just content if she is a working squad member and if her story continues. Personally I enjoyed her mission and her side mission more than all the others. so any tali focus missions would be a Plus!

I can't believe I just read about 100 pages of this thread.

I also can't believe this hasn't come up: notice that on Tali's left leg there is a knife? Whats it for? Where did she get it? Does it have any significance?



Also, I've been thinking . . . we are all expecting Shepard to sacrifice himself at the end of ME3 to save the galaxy at large. But what if you are forced to choose between saving the galaxy . . . or your LI (ie:Tali, as if there was any doubt).



What would you do?

I care, I am not afraid to admit it, I would like for her to be attractive.  The rest of the LIs are on varying levels, it would be dumb for her not to be.  it may be superficial of me, but I made my Shepard damn handsome, he deserves a good looking lady.

That's correct, he has always clearly stated that if your Shepard dies in ME2, that's the end of your Shepard.



but here's to hoping we get some new DLC that has more Quarian awesomeness in it! The thought of waiting for another 2 years for more Tali'ness... arghhhhhh

Bioware Made a Real Shepard. and thats the one they're using.

and the Real Shepard is what they define.

besides. Limiting Saves would be a great idea. that way they can focus on ONE storyline. and thats one where all the characters are saved.

If you'll save you LI instead of Galaxy, your LI will die later. Not an option. But it will be VERY hard NOT to save Tali for me, i can't leave her dyind(

I agree that would be the soldier's reaction, but this is a role-playing game right? I certainly wouldn't be just looking over to see Tali dead and yell "Tali!" then just.. Move on. I would breakdown, and that's why I wouldn't be fit to lead :3

But, I still would have loved to see a Paragon interrupt where Shepard falls over to where she is, and holds her head up.. and just shows some emotion for the moment. Then your fireteam lead would just speak up with "Shepard, we need to keep moving."

 


I like that idea. It drives the point home and adds weight to the outcome rather than it becoming "just-another-casualty-oh-well" moment.

And a nice  growl of grief stricken rage and shot of him  marching down
the corridor fist clenched eyes narrow... Now we have motivated him to
do the impossible, If  was a collector i would run... far away  

At thats would i  be like in the situations, i would turn my grief to rage and focus it on my enemies... Paragon or Renegade.

I agree with both sides. While I tell myself it doesn't matter at all what she looks like ( I mean, it hasn't up to this point now has it?) I still know that I can't make a real judgment until we finally see.

They made an import Shepard, we define what Shepard is...  They had to make one so you didn't have to play ME1 to play ME2.

No it is a dumb idea, Casey Hudson already stated there will be very divergent endings for ME3.

That can't happen with one story.

I am not sure what your deal is but your facts are all messed up.

To balance out ME1, where the canon ending was pure renegade, they may, for the sake of making things easier to program, have the canon ending being everyone lived.



If Someone imports a game where Tali dies, she'll be replaced, A La Wrex/Wreav with a charachter who, while not having a personal connection to you, will fulfill the same role, since it is fairly obvious the quarians/geth will be a major plot point in ME3.



Does kal Reegar always live or can he die? If he always lives, he'd probably replace Tali.



The list of charachters who live nomatter what in ME is now VERY short:



Dr. Chakwas

Joker

Shepard

Liara

Ash/Kaiden

Everyone has to somewhat care, wether you want to admit it or not. To a certain degree. I think it's the fact that most people like/love Tali based on how they've progressed they're relationship, which hasn't been physical, it's been emtional. When I think of Tali, I don't think of some super attractive alien,  most just think of her personality, but, I'm sure she doesn't have a predator face

yes it is. considering your just seeing it as an insult let me elaborate.

Deal with them.
because Bioware makes us deal with Characters we don't want. yet others do.
so it's not up to your judgement to decide to stays. and who goes.

it's up to Bioware. but bioware doesn't want to disappoint fans either. so bringing back the ME2 cast with more characters seems like something they would do.

The ending was not so much renegade as middle path for most choices and skipping most side plot story.



Dr. Chakwas can die if you don't have her escorted.



I still think the non-import Shepard will not bring everyone back.

I really have to agree with Naltair - as stated in the pages previously. I want her face to be attractive. Yes, she's sweet, yes she's adorable, and her personality almost exonerates all of this on it's own. But having a beautiful face would be cherry on top of all of that. I'm not asking she look like some familiar celeb at all though, I'm sure the design team can make her look unique, and beautiful without having to resort to making her look like someone familiar.
