why'd you think that keeping them wouldn't cause any confusionNaltair wrote...
The ending was not so much renegade as middle path for most choices and skipping most side plot story.
Dr. Chakwas can die if you don't have her escorted.
I still think the non-import Shepard will not bring everyone back.

I've also talked to Legion and hope that in ME3 I can get Legion and Tali to work together. The Geth seem very neutral in all aspects, as opposed to the single minded fanatical heretics we've fought throughout the ME saga.
Also, inviting tali up to your room is Pure, Unadulterated Win. I`ll probably just leave one of those two scenes on in the background or soemthign while I am doing soemthing else.
BTW, everyone lived in the mission. Here is how I did it:
1. Mordin and Tali ALWAYS with me.
2. Legion for the Vents.
3. Garrus Leads Both fire teams.
4. Jacob Escorts the Crew back.
5. Jack as Biotic Barrier person. I fugred her using her huge amount of power for defense instead of offense would be a nice culmination to her charachter.
Collector AR absolutely SHREDS through collectors. use it if you have it.

It being a SUICIDE misson, I wouldn't think so either. I would think the least popular new characters are going to die. if you import, they could be there as a squad member, it isn't impossible. Of course it would be easier to just give them a cameo. The point of the triliogy, is to experience a personalized sci-fi journey, so that yours is different from anothers, but the boundaries of that are very faint, which could make it hard to pull off.
Of course, they've probably already planned it all out. They would've have designed the suicide mission like that, if they didn't have a way to bring the live characters back in to a semi important role/squad member/romance. People seem to underestimate what Bioware can do.

Honestly, if Bioware did decide to reveal Tali's face, I'd only want to be as beautiful as possible. This is only matter of opinion, and people will throw their logic into the argument, but that's how I feel.
Either - reveal her with astonishing beauty, or just keep the face hidden, my 2 cents of course.
Subjectivity certainly plays a large role yet there are some widely accepted general notions of what constitutes beauty even amongst widely different cultures on Earth today. It at least allows for the possibility that people can recognize that the person is considered beautiful even if they are not taken with that person's looks themselves. Add to that the more scientific approach of calculating symetric shapes, paterns and ratios that are naturally pleasing to the human eye likely due to the evolution of our species on this planet and it should be entirely possible to come up with a result that won't lead to armed rioting in the streets.

Who exactly are you referring to?
Are you saying that it would confuse players to have some missing and some alive, I think it could be. Which is why I presume they would save the ME1 cast for sure, probably some of the crew but other characters killed off. But this is all supposition.
What I do know is that there will not be any required people that must live or they would have death immunity already.

Why if he is lying?
There seems to be no evidence that there are, in fact, two groups of Geth. Every Geth you encountered attacked you. In fact, you attacked the Geth station, the one that had oddly no defenses. If the heretics are, in fact, only a minority, then why has the majority of non-hostile Geth remained Isolationist? Why not establish borders or open dialog with the other races? Why ensure that no ships ever return from Geth space? Maybe I'm just paranoid, but the only thing supporting Legions version of events is Legion.

Tali and Garrus Most likely being Squadmates considering they are part of a strong arm in the mass effect community. killing them off or minimizing their role would end in total destruction of what Mass Effect stands for.

Or they could just model her after Liz Sroka.

In this photo, her nose already resembles Tali's, so they may have done just that.

206 posts?sweet! anyone for throwing eggs at the bioware office if Tali isn't a LI and squadmate in ME3 btw?
Anyway, I don't see how they can possibly deny the Talimance movement. ^^
She's just awesome, I always wanted a romance with her in ME1.. I was bummed when you couldn't.. I went down talking to her once in a while regardless, even if it didn't "give" anything really.. She said the same stuff mostly.. I'm damn happy she were LI in ME2, and if she's not in ME3, I'm gonna stay "single".It's Tali or noone.
Personally none of the others doesn't really cut it... They're just not... well.. my type.
She's the only LI I felt somewhat for, when you romanced her, it was something deep, not just fooling around in the engine room, you know? Maybe I'm just crazy
Nope, I agree.. Felt like it really mattered to her, and that it was something deeper.. and a connection.. more than just Rammsteins song "P*ssy".. <.<
Tali wanted to bring music, but she was not sure what Shepard liked. She's all fidgety and awkward when she begins speaking. She stole my heart.
Hands downt he BEST RPG character I have ever seen.
On that we can easily agree without reservation sir! There is something truly special...almost magical...about the character chemistry and inter-party dynamics in the ME games.

I just mean you can't make someone that is beautiful to everyone especially a character like Tali where people have much built up interest and admiration without ever seeing her face. I get the feeling many folks will be let down.The_KFD_Case wrote...

and so far... the only 2 people he can trust strongly would be Garrus and Tali. Removing them and Replacing them would be very illogical due to the fact that they're the 2 characters that helped his rear-behind. TWICE.
but i'm still sticking with the fact that the CANON Shepard saved everyone and Mass Effect 3 is gonna take place a few months after Mass Effect 2 and all the same squad members are gonna be in it. a couple more added. bioware making mass effect 2 the last game. they'll probably do this. most likely do this. have as may squad members as possible before their final horah to the series.
having all the characters and having Massive amounts of endings sounds alot liek something bioware would do.
