You are not alone. Despite the apparent contradiction of that comment with a previous one I made whereby I expressed my support of the sentiment that it doesn't matter if Tali is good looking or not, it's not quite that clear cut.

Looks matter. However for once looks are nowhere near being of the same importance as personality in regards to Tali where I'm concerned. It's a pleasant experience.

That said, I do hope Tali is pretty to my eyes and I expect she will be, but if not I could swallow far more disappointment and still adore her than I might under different conditions.

I just find some people's fascination with Tali slightly unhealthy, I like her but yeah I don't like her as much as some people in this thread. I do wish to keep her around though she fits my Shepard like a glove.

Yeah the trolls have been staying out of this thread, and they've been pretty quiet lately. Sticking to this thread is proving to be a good way for peace on the forum overall.

Who thinks the Geth/Quarian conflict will be greatly impacted on wether Tali/Legion survived or not?

Yeah how in-love I am with Tali and how much I fantasize about her is MY business!

Besides there are people with a lot more unhealthy obsessions, like my best friend's obsession with Kerrigan from SC...

I understand where you are coming from, and if I were a few years younger(I`m 25) I'd probably be more "rabid" than I am now, but Tali is a charachter that really speaks to people about what they want in a romantic partner, not as just a mere sexual partner, but as a close friend one wouldd like to always have by one's side and share one's life with. Girls like her are rare in fiction and extremely rare if nonexistant IRL. I was just lucky enough to find a girl like that IRL, and I`m truly thankful for her every day(Gonna be 3 years anniversary in March! YAHOO!).
