Yeah, she must be loyal to Shepard. After everything they've gone through, I honestly can't imagine Tali, our Tali say "I'm sorry Shepard, but for some odd reason I must now leave your ship and be on the migrant fleet because they need me, while you my dear love go fight the greatest threat to the Galaxy. Tell me how it goes honey!"

Again I'm in it for the Tali, but I'm supporting all LI's to reappear in the next game.

i dont think its that she wants nothing to do with the fleet anymore.  shes ALWAYS been adament about the well being of the migrant fleet, and rightfully so.  its just i think she feels she can do more good for them by being a part of your crew.

i did get a chuckle though when talking to her about who they are going to replace talis father with on the admiralty board, and she said that some had suggested that she do it.  while i think it might be a good move, i just dont see tali as being in any kind of political role.

If she ends up on the Admiralty Board and not on your crew as a way for bioware to give her a cameo.......well that'll be like the ultimate steel-toed boot kick to the teeth........

Bioware Mass Effect 2 writers are awesome. I care. ME. You have no idea...it's never happened before. That is the prime reason for my support. Tali's tale was a blowtorch to melt my heart of stone, and iron, and lies.



She has to return!

Again I'm in it for the Tali, but I'm supporting all LI's to reappear in the next game.

Hopefully those DLC's will ease the pain for a year or two.

I am excited to see Liara's as well, I assume that they purposefully gave her a small part in ME2 to build suspense for ME3.

The Mass Effect series has probably been the most emotionally moving video game, where I actually felt something. Tali's quests all had a high amount of emotion to them too. As someone said, they sure do like to pull them heart strings

I support everyone, all the LIs, but without Tali there's no Mass Effect. It's more like, Tali Effect. Literary. Her character and sweet personality certainly had an effect on me, and many others in this thread.

Of course that's what I hope for, I'm just saying that I expect something to happen and some characters "move on" again. A little scared about that. War with the geth maybe?

Exactly. The other LIs didn't really feel with a lot of emotion. Just like a "Wanna fool around?" Though, I'm mostly talking about Miranda, I wont miss her. I can't say a lot about Jack, but I've heard it's pretty emotional too.

Honestly, although I would love this, it would be kinda overkill. Tali's Recruitment and Loyalty missions are Longer and more Story-related than anyone else's in the game.


DLC should be fair to everyone, such as the last charachter(kasumi), or a mission related to/continuing Bring Down the Sky.

Yeah, it's totally not realistic.  If I was developing the DLC I couldn't see myself just catering to a niche by expanding one character's plot through a mission.  Especially since there is no guaranteeing that she survived in everyone's game.  And I wouldn't really want to progress the romantic plot with her that much in any DLC.  The romance is the payoff at the climax of an full installment.  More post suicide mission Normandy dialogue with her would be great though.  More post suicide mission Normandy dialogue in general would be fantastic.

They better not try to do another two years dead again. I don't want that to happen . I want it to start out right after the ME2's ending or the DLC that is supposed to tie into ME3

I personally want all of the living squadmates back as recruitable if possible, but Liara and Tali have been my favorites since the first game. Personally I think the best way to do it is in the standard "chime in" talking that they already have, but you being able to choose your squadmates out of a list of living characters plus some new ones, rather than just 10 (13?) that everyone gets. Though as long as those two are recruitable I'll be happy.
