Oh just people posting about how UNNATURAL our attraction to Tali is and that we're all disturbed...
*Curls up next to Tali plushie* The precious...we wants it...we needs it...
It's all to easy to criticize though. I do think there are lines that separate "healthy" and "unhealthy" interest in person or topic, however experiencing profound emotions for a fictional character that is so finely crafted in a visual medium does not warrant the adjective "weird" in my opinion. Humans are visual creatures and react to visual stimuli, but we are also much more than that and emotions do not play by the same rules as cool logic. It is a testament to BioWare's ability to create believable characters that we can relate to as though they were living, breathing people. The mind is not limited to solely direct physical input - it blurs the boundaries between what is reality as defined by the greater concensus of humanity and what is fantasy. Sometimes the two begin to overlap and when you combine that with human beings natural ability to assert their inquisitive minds and ability to fantasize it should hardly come as a surprise that we are able to project feelings, desiries and thoughts on to fictional characters and creatures when they are so well created as to mimick real life counter parts. There is nothing weird about that phenomenon itself as far as I'm concerned.
Now if you begin to lose the ability to get through your daily duties and responsibilities, if you end up failing to take care of yourself or intentionally/violently harming other individuals without reasonable provocation, then I would say that it might be time for an intervention of some sort.
I love Tali as the person she symbolizes. Would I love for her to be real and accessible in person? Would I ever! Do even remotely expect that to happen? Nope (which makes me a bit of a sad panda but such is life at times). What does give me hope is that since Tali reflects various human traits which I happen to find appealing, that perhaps I may someday encounter a woman who shares those traits and perhaps hit it off with said woman. Is that weird? How so? It's no more weird than some guy drooling over the thought of getting with the well endowed blonde cheerleader (for example) type that he's been fantasizing and lusting for since puberty hit. The difference is that his source inspiration may have originated from a real life person to start with (or an actress emulating such a think on television, etc.) whereas my source inspiration comes from a well-crafted computer game (also a visual medium) that bases its input on human variables.
Yeah...What she said...I love Tali too.I was just teasing about how much I love Tali.

I can only draw things when i have a reference:blink: And her arm is too skinny, and the pic cuts off right where the stomach starts, have trouble finding particular referfence pics =/ need a side shot on that still allows you to partially see her face through the mask, I can't seem to place her face right when i try and draw it. Oh and Ive never tried charcoal so well see how it goes lol.
I guess I mean't chest then. The problem I have with charcoal, is that it's just waaaaay to dark for me, and you have to hold it in a weird angle to make it look good, and flow with the lines. You cant just make aprupt strokes. I sometimes use charcoal to outline, and bold things though.
I think I found a picture you might like, you can sort of see the face.

Haha yeah. I took a an art class a few months ago, made me use charcoal... Pencils are just so much easier to draw with. I'm sure like that guy, if you were more experienced with charcoal, you art could be better than that of a pencil drawing, because there's more options for light and dark, since you have more of a broad range.
I seriously need to stop going off topic though...What was the current topic, again?

I know there is much love for Tali, but I have to say Mark Meer really sells those lines as Shepard especially the one about the "Captain's Orders..." it kills me every time.
