I guess, but you can't play past the suicide mission if your Shepard dies. You'd have to start over if you wanted to play DLC. If you get an ending that lets you keep playing after the suicide missions, and a deceased character gets a DLC mission or whatever, then you're screwed on that save. You'll have to back up to where that character was still alive or start the game over. Seems like a hassle that would be avoided to make the DLC approachable.wulf3n wrote...

Yeah, it's totally not realistic. If I was developing the DLC I couldn't see myself just catering to a niche by expanding one character's plot through a mission. Especially since there is no guaranteeing that she survived in everyone's game. And I wouldn't really want to progress the romantic plot with her that much in any DLC. The romance is the payoff at the climax of an full installment. More post suicide mission Normandy dialogue with her would be great though. More post suicide mission Normandy dialogue in general would be fantastic.
by that logic there's no point developing any DLC as its not guarunteeing that commander shepard survived.
Anyway, I really hope we can get some form of Tali fanservice through the Cerberus Network. I'll take anything!

The thing that makes me depresssed is that we are not going to know tali's role in ME3 till a year or two, It would be a shame if they made her a cameo. I mean I didnt like the characters ashley or kaiden but I would have prefered to have them integrated more in the game. Would it be so bad to bring back the original squadmembers for ME3
If I had a time machine, I would literally fast forward to ME3 release just so I can play it for tali.

At CES (I believe) The Wiki has claimed that Casey Hudson commented that "Mass Effect 3 will have no updates in graphics, so it will be released as soon as it has been created, expect same planets and characters."
If said quote is true, we don't really have anything to worry about. But for all I know, it could be false. If the cast is the same, she souldn't be a cameo.

Though I agree, I don't really think the game needs more characters. We've spent time building relations with the current, it would be a shame to toss some of the characters we built relationships with aside.

Liara and Ash/Kaiden we know are back, but for people who everyone died, would it be fair to force them to play the whole game with just them?
Perhaps there should be Less New charachters in Me3.. I`m thinking maybe 4 new ones max, to make the total party if everyone got killed 6. That would be fair.

look what they did to the ME1 characters they have no problem doingvideowiz186 wrote...
ME2 was focused on character development. I doubt they would throw all the character's away and start a new crew. They spent too much time on the crew for it to have been all for nothing. And if they did do that, then does anyone have a grenade launcher?
