It wouldn't be as emotional, or engaging if the choices werent difficult, and if there were no conflicts :)
For it to continue well, there needs to be many challenges in the LI. I think getting over those challenges and still being in love, and having kept each other safe is the real reward :)

I like how when you rest with Tali on the bed, she keeps grinding against your leg. Complete the picture by putting on the Afterlife song. It looks so wrong...

If bioware didn't listen to their fans, then they wouldn't as successful as they are now. And Tali is included with that.

Like I keep saying, Tali's involvement in ME2 is mostly a fan service. It has to be with all the feed back Bioware got back on a side character who is the only of her race you encounter throughout the entire game.

The quarians in general have a much bigger role in this game then in me1

Tali is entirely the character she is, and a LI in ME2 because of fans. Casey Hudson confirmed it in the Giant Bomb interview. They didn't think players would like her in that way because of her "chicken feet", and suit, and-- Ughh, this has been discussed already.

But the point I'm trying to make is.. These thread do make a difference. They are the reason we have the Tali we love.

When does one rest with Tali on the bed? All I saw was her jumping me unto the bed and there it ended.

Did I miss something...?

Comments like this are kinda awkward. I mean you're probably like 15-18 years old and thinking that is alright in my book, but I just think it's kind of odd at the same time.

When i was young I used to think Aisha Clan Clan from Outlaw Star was the coolest female character in anything ever, just like you people do with Tali. I guess I'm just more grown up now.

No hate meant, these comments are just kinda odd to me.

Indeed without us ME2 wouldn't be the same game... and ME3 might be a more boring game.

Talk to her down in engineering after the suicide mission, then go up to your cabin and use the new terminal option that becomes available.

After the game ends, you can choose to keep playing or start a NG+. Choose to keep playing, go up to your room and select "invite Tali up" on one of the consoles. Now you can choose to sit with her on the couch which looks terrible and completely awkward, or you can rest on the bed and she'll join you. This also looks awkward but slightly less than the couch scene.

If you make the LI more engaging you're boarering on a dating sim which I believe is 98% not likely for Bio Ware. But find somebody to make a flash game or something and there ya go.

OK, so this is my first Tali drawing. I am planing to do more. This one is just a try, havent drawn in quite a few years. I used my desktop as reference. So just some feedback would be nice. And i think i am trying to do one of her without the mask.

PS: the pic is a bit to the side due to the fact that my silly scanner repositioned it on its own.

Short
of blowing up a space station in the process and igniting an
intergalactic war between the Council and the Hegemon, I see little
that would be of sufficient scale in a rescue operation of Tali which
would warrant such drastic action from the Council. However, just
about anything is plausible, if not perhaps quite
believable.

I don't think its that unbelievable.
Most of Tali's action revolve around assisting the migrant fleet.
What if this brings her into direct conflict with the Council?
Shepard will be between a rock and a hard place if she asks for help
in a way that directly contradicts the Council.

Now that I find far more believable. The Council would have to be aware that Shepard was assisting an enemy of the state though, and possess proof of such in order to make solid case against him. Being a spectre good ol' Shepard should be difficult to track in a state-of-art stealth ship. Anyhow, what will be will be and I look forward to it, but I will be one extremely irate poo flinging monkey if there is no face reveal and no active squad member status for Tali. Just saying.

Casey Hudson has confirmed that if the threadnaught reaches 1000 pages, Tali will be available as a LI to female Shepards and in the case of a male Shepard, they will be able to marry, have kids and live happily ever after.

Time to stop posting, then.

Quick question.

Do you think Tali has Tattoos?
Like, tribal or ceremonial tattoos on her face?

Maybe she has a marking on her cheek that signifies she was born in the Rayya or something?

Did you do that with charcoal? It looks great!

About no mask... don't give her pointy ears. People here seem to have a stigma about them for some reason.

I think I'd just like to point out that despite the giant outpouring of support for Tali, all threads have many more lurkers then those that actively take part. There are many more of us then it feels like. (and it feels like there are many, many of us.)

I do actually, but it would violate BioWare's forums rules and regulations prohibiting the active discussion of politics. A rain check perhaps?

You don't need to know my age, but let's just say that the cypher to interpreting my post is in the last sentence I included. Unfortunately, what I intend to convey is lost in this medium.
Also, harping on the apparent immaturity of other users and going on to say how you've grown up, completely undercuts what you're trying to say.

don't say it like that, thats just mean.

i would say it like "Liz, we support you strongly, we're very grateful you have made that accent for Tali, and with that Accent you have Stolen the hearts of many... we thank you, i personally thank you in drawing Tali Art, you can repay us by continuing doing what your doing. hope you have a wonderful year, and i hope you record alot of dialogue for the next game, we hope you are a bigger part in the game, a bigger part than you take in our hearts. again. we thank you."

They live most of their lives in suits right? What would be the point of a decorative tattoo?

Even then, we get diseases from getting tattoos today, imagine what would happen to a quarian if they got sick after a tattoo? Death.
