I've noticed. A few bad seeds here and there, and it seems there's quite a few jerks out there who get their kicks getting some Tali fans upset and angry.

I'll admit, there are quite a few overzealous fans here. I adore Tali, but let's do try and keep this just under "Twilight Moms" creepy-level....

Agreed...i've been holding back on posting here the entire night now. Man. I thought I liked Tali, but some of this is bordering on Twilight fandom/weeaboo fanaticism.

I'll continue to support Tali's return for ME3, but some of this is really getting to be over the line. She's a video game character, and some of this fanaticism is the equivalent of a chocolate-covered-deep-fried twinkie to a fat guy as trollbait.

I don't think any of us currently here are "that" bad..

I draw pictures and the occasional funny meme/joke -- thats not so bad is it?

But yes, there are a few... radical ones that sometimes come by and put this thread to shame...

Nothing wrong with most of the people. Some of the fanart is pretty neat. I'm just saying that some of the really obsessed ones are doing nothing but drawing the trolls in their dozens, and resulting in the "Tali haters" thread. Granted, they're allowed to voice their own opinions, even if it's just as stupid as some of the fanaticism found here.

It's been getting out of hand (Though it's seemed to calm down in the past hour or so.).

That bit of dialogue between the BF and his Girl made me Lol btw.

unless you DID all the sidequests already. then yes. maybe switching to insanity MIGHT help. alittle. just to be on the safe side. do it.

Hey guys I have 2 Tali related questions if you don't mind helping me out.

1)  Does Mordin ever comment on your relationship with Tali?  I think I've heard that he makes comments about FemShep and Garrus.  It seems weird that he wouldn't mention anything or try to help when it comes to humans and Quarians.  I'm sure he could figure something out with the immune system problem.  I've tried talking to him all throughout my romance with Tali but he's never said anything about it.

2)  In this video at around 4:50 Shepard mentions something about Customs referring to Tali as "that thing".  Does anyone know how to get to this dialogue or where it takes place?  I usually take Tali with me everywhere but I've never seen this dialogue before.

Answer: 1) he does comment about how it could be dangerous that you and her... do it. so he suggests to you that you sterilize as well, as she had come to him for some anti-biotics and herbal suppliments and immuno-boosters.
pretty much he knows exactly whats going on. he's the doctor after all. he was fun to have around. hope he's back in ME3 to comment on more things me and Tali do xD like having kids and stuff... i know they can't but it'd be fun to hear what he has to say about it. so yeah. he comments about it before activating the omega 4 relay. if you talk to him.


Answer: 2) thats probably because you do the mission BEFORE you get Legion. if you do it AFTER you get him and you take him with you. then a small scene unique occurs.

Wrex is SUPER excited to see you.
Tali is the one who missed you the most, and was the only one, aside from the aforementioned two, who still trusted you. Hence, making her the best character.

I think Liara, like Tali, has a romantic interest in you, regardless of whether you romanced her in the first game or not. She's certainly one of the most dedicated to Shepard.

She at least had a reason for not making a big appearance/joining Shepard this time around. Ashley's excuse was ****** poor in my opinion, especially if you romanced her in ME1. Despite all you've been through with her, and despite what you had, she doesn't even bother to give you the benefit of the doubt. I find it funny that Tali and Garrus join Shepard, despite him working for the sci-fi equivalent of the **** party...and they're both aliens. In my opinion, that shows alot about Ashley's character (Looking past the fact that it's a flimsy excuse for Ashley not to have a bigger role.).

Wrex's response to Shepard was actually surprising, in a pleasant way. I liked how he was so friendly with Shepard, and it really made me happy that I had spared his life in the first game.

Either way, I look forward to telling Ashley off in ME3, with Tali hanging off Shepard's arm. **** me out despite everything and send me a crappy e-mail, will you...

1) Yes, but I'm not gonna tell you what he says. It wrecks all the fun.

2) I'm pretty sure it's from bringing Legion aboard the Migrant Fleet.

1) He does. He mentions the risk of intimacy between humans and Quarians, and "forwards" to Shepard a "manual" composed of safe positions, ways to minimize risks of infection, etc. It's pretty funny, like everything Mordin says. And no, you don't get to see the manual. Maybe you need to do his loyalty quest (And maybe a couple after.) first?

2) Can't answer that one for you, sorry.

Edit: My "spoilers" don't ruin anything. It's funny as hell, even if you've heard before. Trust me.

One of the things I absolutely about Tali's character, mainly in the romance options, was that she was soo friggin' real.

Compared to ME1, it was just stand there, and flirt the one liner and then final mission you do the deed.

With ME2.. its completely different.
I got goosebumps when I saw Tali cup my(Shep's) hands and talked about how she wanted to feel my skin against hers. I truely applaud Bioware for an exceptional and realistic experience in the dialogue -- if not one of the best I've ever witnessed.

you know... at first. i thought i was alone when i finished mass effect 2 i was disappointed that not only was it short. but it was also sad that they took away the Mako type missions that took up like weeks of my time. and replaced it with a stupid f***king scanner instead. that made things "easier" and less of an "RPG"



i was sad.... but now i see... that i should be glad.... otherwise. i wouldn't be part of this forum right here. right now.

Thanks for the answers guys. I don't know how I missed Mordin's dialogue since I tried talking to him during the Tali romance. Hmm.



And SerSpiffy you're right. I always do Tali's loyalty mission first (I was anxious to get to it haha) so there was no way I'd ever see that scene with Legion. Thanks for the info.
