I killed him on my first ever playthrough on ME1, back when I had it for the Xbox. At first, that was the same gut reaction I had, which is why I put a bullet through his skull.
But the second time around, I stopped to think about it, and understood his point of view. Sure, he was threatening to kill you, but only because he saw the salvation of his people. It would have made them puppets of Saren (Which is how you convince him to stand down.), but he wasn't looking that far into it. He simply saw a cure for the genophage, something that his own people hadn't managed to find a cure for. I probably would have acted the same way in his shoes.
Glad I let him live this time around. He's pretty cool in ME2.

I too am curious about the Hammerhead. I certainly hope it'll come with more than two half-hour missions on a really small map. We'll see. Though as long as it handles better than the Mako(-me-go-goddamn-ape****-insane), i'll be satisfied.
**demands the next DLC to be The Romance Pack**
Seriously -- I'd PAY (a moderate amount, liek no more than $30) for it.

Wait what am I saying, a DLC that expands the Tali LI with more missions and more dialogue as her LI?
TAKE MY WALLET BIOWARE I DON'T CARE, JUST GIMMEE IT.

The Romance pack would be fantastic. I found the lack of post-suicide mission dialogue very disappointing, especially for Tali. I'd drop a few bucks (And by that, I mean 30-35$.) for something like that. Perhaps they may expand upon LIs in their big DLC packs. I'm hoping for an expansion (Hell, Dragon Age got one.) that helps bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3. Hopefully improvements in the romances will be included in something like this.

i thought the mako help up fine... i kinda wish in ME3, they bring it back.
because if they bring it back. that would probably mean EARTH would be Explorable. but then again.... ME3 might take place a majority on Earth...
hmmm either way. i would love it if they had like a week worth of Hammerhead missions.... you know. have as many maps as mass effect had of maps...
i don't know... for some reason i felt the Mako held a sort of week worth of gameplay.... because of the exploration and stuff.... but to be honest. i kinda wish it came back.... for the sake of bringing Garrus and Tali with me and just kicking it like in the Old Days.... driving around.... Me and Garrus mistaking Tali's Legs as Stickshift.... err i've said too much >_>
not to mention when we tried to search for "loose change" then get a quarian punch.
it's these extra details i gave myself to give the game that extra feel. xD should make a comic about that.
still i remember the Mako. when i saw the normandy Crash site.... i felt obligated to cry for the mako.... and i placed the monument infront of it. and actually Saluted my TV.... because it was so heartbreaking seeing the mako there....
after all i've done in mass effect 1.... *sigh* i miss the Mako...

sucks, i could NEVER find the colossus armor for tali on any of my playthroughs. had it for everyone else but her. i was always stuck with the explorer or phoenix armors, which mind you, while they dont look bad, they arent a colossus set.

I opted to let Wrex live though I am a "save ****", so I will often replay scenes back-to-back just to see what an alternative response would have resulted in. We can all have our bad days, but for the life of me I just don't have it in me to be fully Renegade - not without really committing and going overboard and that's a cold, angry and lonely place to be at. Not something I wish to embrace. I much prefer the Paragon way.
Speaking of such things, did anyone else play the PC version of ME2 and experience odd Paragon and Renegade points popping-up after a major mission was completed? There were at least a handful of times where I'd just sit there and go "Huh? How did I just get 5 Renegade points and 4 Paragon points?" Usually the Paragon option will always be the top right dialogue option and Renegade options are in the lower right.
Also, on the side-mission where you have to stop two Javelin Mk. II missiles from obliterating a colony's residential area and its spaceport, you can only stop one. I opted to save the residential area despite it supposedly resulting in the evacuation of the colony since the spaceport is a needed strategic resource, but when I looked back through my completed quest log it showed up as though I had chosen to save the spaceport and let the civilians die. Bug?
Phew! I've been hit hard. I'm remeinded of an old Elton John song, "I'm in love with the bride of a handsome man, but I never knew her name! Ouh-uh! Ouh-uh!" The damnest thing being that there appears to be no readily realistic way to pursue Tali because, well, she is a fictional character. Time to find a living woman with Tali's traits then I suppose! *bittersweet sigh*<3
