i like Tali but i hope we never see her face cause of 2 reasons
she is mysterious i like that alot
if we do get to see her face people will complain about it alot(no matter what it looks like) and by the sounds of things if they do let us see her face and she isnt good enough then it might start world war 3

You guys do know that quarians are AI don't you? The side quest where you try and sell the slave quarian, the agent woman gives it away by saying they do not use AI.
So you're all lusting after a bunch of circuitry.
Bunch of "Weird Science" nerds in here or what. :P

Is she really a true AI? I didn't gather that from the first Mass Effect. Actually I don't recall her talking about food or drink in the flotilla... maybe... The Geth are pretty stupid in comparison then. I just figured the suit was like that of the other aliens in the Citadel who require different atmospheres. i guess I'll have to look into the Codex.

Seeing tali's face would be a cherry on top of an already icecream layered cake, lathered in frosting. If she is in ME3, i would be happy and content, if we get to see her face.....well i might just die from the amazing experience. I don't think my body could handle it. hehe Posted Image

Whoa, settle down tubby.

Pretty much all the codex entries considering the flottilla talk about how they struggle to gather food and other ressources. Then theres the issue of their immune system, which no AI would have and the whole background with the Geth - if Quarians where AI, why bother with developing a new one to preserve the ancestors.

I already feel like wasting time by reasoning this....long story short; the AI-thing is utter crap

*without the tiniest mockery*

Oh, anyways, to add something. If this "has to be in ME3" thing comes true, note that it stands for other LIs too. Just for the record. If one gets in the others shall get in too. Seriously.

And if I can make a suggestion, make a friendship line with her too. The majority of people out there (not the participants here, of course) chose another romance interest. Well, the majority doesn't even pursue cross-species relationships. And we, who don't see her as a bed-warmer, would like to see something other than that. Frankly, if you choose not to sleep with her, you get nothing more. In ME1, if you turned down a romance, you could still build up a -friendly- relationship with the love interests. That was missing from the second game in case of all LIs. Once you say "I don't feel this way", they basically tell you "I don't have time, I'm in the middle of something". Which is an obvious step back from the second game.

As I said, Tali is a girl, not a women (which is absolutely okay, that was the point for her targeted romance audience), so my Shepard is more of a mentor to her, but we are lacking the option to act like one. Or a friend. Or anything else. There is no other relationship-development than sex. That bugs me about all the love interests in the game.

Tali has my vote!!! (always!!) ME3 wouldn't be much of a game without her. Garrus should be there too, not to mention the rest of our ME1 team as well!

You know, if you make a thread about wanting to have Tali play a mayor role in ME3, it'd behoove you to not go apologize left and right for daring to make that thread. Show some backbone. ^^

Why would they need suits in their own ships if no other species are allowed there?

All that I quoted is to throw you off, much the same as a lot of the things in the game. I already know what is up with the Quarians and lets just say it is going to be a "molten" situation.
Know who the Illusive man really is as well.
A lot of you are in line for some very big surprises and awakenings is all I have to say.

Seriously, why are you petitioning for something that's bound to happen anyway? ME3 has to have a combination of squadmates: new ones, returning from ME1, and squadmates who've been with you through the trilogy. So Tali and Garrus are almost a given, as is Liara. (This is coming from a Tali fangirl, btw.)

Honestly I would like to see how the devs view the Quarians on the whole. I know many people claim it adds to the mystery of Tali as a character but, you lose alot of things when you can't see facial expressions. Now if it wasn't for the work of very talented writers and obviously a tallented voice actress Tali would be a very one demonsional character, very much like the Master Chief from Halo.

I'm a Tali fan, but I'm not petitioning. Petitions are ignored.

i mean really. i consider myself a tali fan as well. granted, i dont see myself as being as outspoken or fanatical as some people around here.

that being said, im SURE that tali will make a return in me3. however, this is all dependent upon whether she lives or dies in the suicide mission.

And whether or not She's Exiled.

Tali must return. And the romance has to continue for me

So must Ashley, so that perhaps her cold heart can be melted by a nuke like the one I saved her from in ME.

As for seing Tali's face? I don't need to.

Oh my God... no one ever listens to Devs. If you die in ME2 you cannot import your save to ME3 PERIOD!

Seriously... Bioware has stated multiple times in multiple interviews if Shepard dies in ME2 there is NO import to ME3. Instead you're stuck with a default shepard, so you have to survive ME2 if you want to import.

Hokochu said "if she dies"  as in Tali

I hope she continues to be a party member in ME3 and the romance can continue. I don't care whether I see her face or not.

I'd rather have my Tali safe and sound on the ship and have Kal'Reager or someone else come with me for the dangerous stuff. Then again the ship doesn't appear to be that safe of a place anymore does it.

The name Quarian indicates some sort of rock like people so I will laugh if she is a thinner version of Shale from Dragon Age.
