It just seems like the devs wanted us to either dislike our previous LI's......If that's what they really wanted, then they definitely succeed. Cuz with Liara and Ash being poops. Tali completely had my attention, I mean she already had it , but when my old LI's ditched me because they wouldn't work with me because i was working THROUGH ceberus, I completely lost interest in them. Even with Liara's cold nature being explained i still find it hard to like her as a LI. Maybe as a crew member in ME3, but Ash is going to be all alone.

LOL I just realised that my next comment is probably why Bioware is taking their time in showing us canon quarians.  I've always thought they were lighter in skin tone, infact the draenei is what I would picture the quarians looking like without the horns of course and lighter hair.  Glowing eyes and fairy/elf facial features are a must imo but if they go with something different it is all good, the personality and voice is what sold me on Tali, I would like to at least see them, anyone in the ME universe could pick up a Fornax and see a quarian whenever they wanted to.

Tali joined me out of sheer loyalty as someone said that means she is more loyal than the LIs.
I just find more reasons for executions, Grunt need to let out some steam, hmmmm...

In regards to the whole Quarian look like Dranei. I would have thought they look more like night elves, you know with the whole purple thing, but personally i would prefer if the look slighty more alien, sort of like the Na'vi, human like, so as to still be attractive, but alien enough to seem interesting, and unique. too human looking just seems too lame and gimmicky which is my problem with the asari.

That's really true I mean I am all about tali ever since ME1 but they never really gave any more incentive for players to remain faithful a simple email that's it? I would have expected more conversation at least two emails?

It's probably a good thing, then. I mean when I played ME1 on the 360, she was me LI. Though since I played ME2 on the PC, I had to start a new Shepard.

Im not a Tali fan, but she better be a party member in ME3. I mean no offense when I say shes a great bench warmer, keeping the ship running and all. I also love the idea of having the romance plot for whoever you picked carry over and start right off the bat.

But she'd rather go on a revenge quest against the shadow broker than help out the person she saved.......? Sounds like she's lost sight of the big picture.....I might be one of the few who truly don't like any of the old LI's, but I think i've explained why plenty of times.

You woulda expect more of your crew from ME1 to be loyal to Shepard, not just 2.....

Well, Liara, as much as I didn't like her character (I HATE Ashley's character, but I never hated Liara. More of a dislike...or indifference maybe.), had a logical reason for not being able to join you. But Ashley, who could've easily joined you (Think of how the Quarian admiralty board let Tali join you, if you read the e-mail(s) from them. This was also before her loyalty mission, mind you.), chose not to. Two years? Confused? Garrus and Tali were no doubt as confused to suddenly find Shepard back and working for Cerberus. But they still chose to join Shepard out of loyalty, and friendship, despite the shady organization he was working "for".

I know Bioware made that up for Ashley as an excuse to save her for ME3, but as an excuse, it's ****** poor. Like I said, at least Liara had a real reason for not being able to join you. Ashley just makes herself out (At least to me.) as someone who either didn't love your Shepard, never knew him well enough, or just wasn't as loyal as Garrus and Tali. Like I said, it speaks volumes about her character.

If I haven't done this before, i'm signing this petition. For Garrus as well. Mass Effect 3 would not be Mass Effect without this two amazing characters.
