I agree, most people who read my posts are able to say i'm all out against extreme obsession and the like; and quite frankly, i don't think we are past that. It just comes in waves and we are in a calm period.

On the other hand, i don't like Sandal from Dragon Age: Origins and am sick of all the guys spamming 'Enchantment!' but don't go crazy and post a Sandal HATE thread...

Anyway, while i'd still prefer to just not post over there, the best is to be reasonable if we're doing that anyway. And in that you have succeeded.  I'm happy there are people like you here.

Thanks i'm sure we can expect some more insane posts later though (oddly enough they always appear when Postman45 logs on... hmmm)

I find that most exremeists are people that have just found the Tali romance for the first time. I was completely obsessive at first but everyone eventually settles down. BTW the Legion fan club doesn't really like Tali I checked out their page bc i was gonna join but they don't want Tali in ME3. We need more support!!!

I understand on some level where the OP of that thread is comming from.  I support the idea that some people take the Tali thing waaaaaaaay to far, but i don't think it's fair that her fan base (you, me, and everyone else with a level head on there shoulders) should be represented by the few bad apples.

     That just my two cent mind you...

In the end (and this is speaking for myself, at least) I was affected emotionally by a great story and great characters and it's obviously captured all our imaginations.  If people want to tattoo Tali's helmet to the crack of their arse that's their business.  Me?  i just enjoy the ride...

   The way i see it the guy was voicing his opnion, which he is entitled to.  but the thing is, is it necessary? 

    from my perspective no... but it's not about me.  Everyone is different.  it might be necessary for him, and thats okay.  I personaly thought the Miranda romance was pointless and very plain.  But if Miranda had a huge fanbase i would'nt make a post saying how creepy they all were even if i thought they were...because to me it's kind of pointless to say that.   Pointless because A.) the fan's would obviously be passionate about Miranda and B.) None of them could give a dingo's kidneys what i think.  Nature of the internet and all lol ...

    To each there own.... i think it's pointless to bash Tali just because she has a huge fanbase and some people in that fan base are crazy..... but hey, whatever makes that guy happy.

I'm just saying they can/did have the ability to make the Geth. Maybe if they get the resources from another faction. Maybe all the probes you sent out could help them out.
Picture Tali and the others in mechs similar to the ones in the last Matrix movie. Something like that. Or give them a killer space fighter fleet. Mostly it looks like large environment ships they live in. I didn't see anything that looked like a war ship.

Reminds me of the Story idea i had after beating the game of Tali and  Reegar finding  a Stasis locked Thundercracker  and repairing   him between the time of ME 1 and ME 2..

you never know... perhaps BW will make that choice a friendly action for Females and a romantic action for males? if it is in ME3 i don't think they'd make it exclusively male and romantic although i could be wrong...

it really isn't necessary in the fact that they're making fun of Tali.

Fair point... Then, it's sufficient to say that i whole-heartedly agree with Admiral-165. 

Edit: sure. That's my point exactly; i'm already past the period of life when i was *that* passionate about a video game character but since i happen to like Tali and agree that she should be in ME3, i follow this thread and post form time to time. Quite often i just try to keep it in the right direction.

   Correct....and i will definitly agree that there are some WICKED creepy preverts out there.  I did a search on google for fan art of tali and i was........distrubed..... by some of the things i saw.  Indeed, there are some things your eye's can't unsee.

   A lot of people seem to favor the house on the homeworld option.  Not a bad idea, but i would also be fine with my Shepard spending the rest of his days as a crew memember of the Migrant Fleet.  He does have the spacer background, so that would be appropriate.

    Also we can't be sure that the homeworld is habitable...remember the Geth did take it over, and they likely had little use for trees, water, or a habitbale atmosphere.  It's possible that the enviornment is intact, but unlikely i think.
