Please do not make fun of ashley in this thread. We don`t want to bash other charachters.

That said, I`m sure even her fans agree that her romance is initiated without either you or her really saying anything confirming it, by just being paragon to her. They fixed this in ME2 by making it far more clear if you were going to romance a charachter.

By saying this I`m not saying the romance with ashley was bad or that her charachter was bad, but when I was trying to make a no-romance playthrough, she all of a sudden assumed we were in a realtionship just because I was being nice to her, and there was no way to back out. I had to Virmire her.

Another thing improved in Me2 is that you cna break up with your romance at any time.

Wow sorry for bringing this up but I peeked back into the Tali hate thread and someone said they liked Tali at first but that all changed when he saw how delusional her fans can be or something like that.

I can't believe someone actually started to hate a character just because of how her fans act. That makes absolutely no sense.

Liara an asari. Don't see time the same way as humans. Have 1000 years. Can be patient. Technically Liara reason you're alive.

Best solution: set up a romance with Ash in ME1, then leave her to die on Virmire. That's what I'm gonna do on my "no-cheating" playthrough! ME2's gonna start off so funny with Kaiden running to you in his Phoenix armor, though...

Working on that as we speak, level 59 still have noveria virmire and Ilos to go! Hope I can get a 60 character. I just told Ashley to **** off.

If you have all those 3 to go, you 'll definitley get to 60 as long as you remember never to kill anything in the Mako.


the Mako's guns are weaker than yours once you get into the 50's anyway.

Agreed, but we really shouldn't talk about the hate threads. best to leave them alone. They'll die on their own.

Regardless of whether it makes sense or not, taht attitude does exist. Which is another reason why we should discourage "extreme" talk. We don`t want people hating Tali because of us, especially going to the length of making a thread about it, which happened.

Oh btw, Gay Warden, in the OP, put up a rule telling people not to cross the line about Tali in this thread. All that sex and legion-tali-shepard threesome talk got some people too angry and some hate Tali just becuase of us now.
