On the subject of Liz Sroka's excellent voice acting, I do routinely pull up the Tali clips just to smile at how she says her lines. Her vocal inflections are wonderful. She was rather bubbly and youthful sounding in ME1, but in ME2 when she starts hitting on you, her voice just gets... husky, sultry, and pretty darn seductive.

i got pretty under the collar when she talked about going skin to skin...

Okay, fine, how about the part where Reegar says "If you get Tali killed, I won't be able to propose to her and I'll kill you."

When does Kal use those exact words? Seems to me like you are bluffing.

And the voice... *swoon*

And that accent indeed.
Also the way she is babbling when nervous.
That is well cute.

Her dialogue during the romance scene was pure GOLD.

it was just totally .. awesome..
for some reason I like when she says "Stupid", as in "Its a defense mechanism and its stupid and.."
Cause its more like "Shhtoopid" xD

Liz Sroka = Best Video Game Voice Actress EVER

Seconded.

I approve.

Agreed.

Absolutely adorable, to the nth degree<3

How about that part where Reegar says "You make sure Tali gets out alive, or I'm going to pay you a visit."?

Kal'Reegar's responsibility.
Also, threat laughable. Shepard survive much, kill more. No need to heed.
Tali motivation enough.

Doctor correct, Miss interpute Reeagar's intention... Tali valved, squad member, comrade in arms... good friend. Reegar and Shephard both Miltary, lots of bravdo.  Shephard would do same thing in Reegar shoes.

I was just amazed when Kelly said that she figured Tali wanted to be more than friends. I broke it off with Miranda immediately and got straight into it.

And I liked when her log on Haestrom said "I wish Sheperd was here"

Her wish

I will approve it as well. The romance dialogue was great. And the way she said "Stupid" was just great.
Pure gold indeed.

That's a point - did anybody consider holding back on consummating their relationship with Tali over fears for her health.

I considered it myself, after all I wouldn't put it past a game that kills off characters like flies to take away someone you care about because of your own impatience.

Hm. Interesting question. Personally, no. Sure, I examine all the dialogue options and mull over them a bit before making a decision, but my attraction and desire to be nearer Tali was stronger than any other factor.

Now if we want a more logical approach to justify such selfish behaviour, how about this: Tali is indicating she is willing to take the risk herself and you are about to go on a mission that in all probability will see someone die, if not everyone on the mission (though being the RPG veteran that I am everyone came home alive! Hourah!).

I sent the guy who made that Tali music video a message, asking him to send me his video so I could use the footage to make my own. I can't record it, since getting to those moments in the game will take a long time.

Hopefully by tomorrow night, if he responds fast enough, I'll have my video ready.

I've been looking for "clean" footage as well (without the text) and I'd make a video if I could find enough.

I expected you would type that. While I have not tried every dialogue option for that Kal chat, I remain politely skeptical that he uses the words "propose to her", etc. Besides, as mentioned in a previous post, it's a bit of a non-story seen from Tali and Shepard's perspective as they are now reunited.

Now if after ME3 we see a wife-beater wearing, drunk Shepard who smacks Tali around and tells her to stay in the kitchen then by all means Kal, go rescue the quarian princess!:D

Luckily I was proven wrong when I chose to continue after I finished the game and hear Tali's reaction to our little bed in.  Still, it was a tough choice.

You can't smack Tali, it's impossible. She has an aura of adorable akwardness around her that'll break Sheps arms if he tries to hit her

Yeah seriously that is a pretty cool name.

My sister from the Thane thread noted some important differences in hoping for thane in ME3 and Tali in ME3, in that Tali has a role with her people, that, if not filled by her will be filled by a Stand-in such as the Wreav/Wrex situation. However, Thane, as far as we know, doesn`t. The Thane fans are in a worse position than use, as Bioware could completely forego Thane and it wouldn`t affect the story. Personally, for my sister, and for anyone else who romanced thane, I hope there is a way to cure him and have him in ME3 as well.

Hehe. You are not alone on that count. Tali's personality, her demeanour, body language, and voice just melt me. Fictional character or not, I get a bit weak at the knees with her.
