I served in my home country's royal guard as a grenadier in a motorized infantry division (which is part of my country's Royal Army). We serve as part of the royal family's active security detail (the royal guard contingent for that mission serves as the outer perimeter line of defence while the royal family's personal bodyguards, whom are usually provided by specially trained police forces, maintain the inner perimeter line of defence).

Also I really don't like how people use these stupid pop love songs for Tali and Shepard. It's just me. I hate those kind of songs, and I think that it doesn't fit them at all - yes the words may mean the stuff but it's not really like that, they fell in love under tense circumstances of saving the galaxy in a sci-fi video game... Those songs are more like they saw each other's hot bodies on the beach and fell in love then a year later stumbled across each other on the street as Shepard picks up a flower and gives it to Tali or something.

NO, for god's sake he had to fight his way through to get to Tali by killing about 50 geth and then blasting open a huge brick and then taking down a biga*s collossus.

Thanks. Hm. I reside in the CET time zone so it's 2:43 zulu time here, meaning it is theoretically possible. I'm going to err on the side of caution though and say I don't think we'll reach 10,000 within the next 24 hours (from the CET time zone perspective). It wouldn't surprise me if we pass 9,000 posts though.

I don't think Bioware is going to ignore their fans when it comes to Tali. She has a cult following. Literally a cult following.



For example: Tali was originally supposed to be an LI in ME but that was omitted due to the developers thinking that no one would want to romance an alien with "chicken feet". Tali fans came in and made their voices heard and you can see what happened.

Yeah, It's practically confirmed with her saying she's never linked her suit environment with anyone. I also think it's safe to assume she's never even had a boyfriend. 

When you think about it, it's almost indescribable the amount of attraction she must have for Shepard. You have to consider that a guy like Shepard would be extremely appealing to any "typical" woman; he's a handsome, very famous hero who commands a certain amount of power and respect. But you also have to consider Tali's personal issues. She grew up feeling little love and affection from her primary male role model, her father. A man like Shepard, who not only has a few years of age over her, but is also in a position of authority, would instantly appeal to a girl like Tali who's lacked affection from her father. And even on top of all of that, you have to factor in the isolation and lack of physical contact that the Quarian lifestyle entails. 

You combine all of that, with the fact that Shepard is (probably) her first real love, and you basically have a perfect storm of affection and attraction from Tali towards Shepard. If Tali and Shepard are ever separated, Tali would be emotionally devastated beyond words.
