If you take tali with you to the last battle, you will get the Scene of Shep saving her from falling. Although I didn`t hear a "Tali!" scream like it showed in the trailer.

One funny thing that happened to me is, Harbinger Glitched and got stuck behind some cover, so I never had to deal with him at all in the last battle, and I was playing on Veteran. LOL

I think that was added in there for the sake of informing players of ME1 that it was Tali sliding down.

Its actually the scream ("Tali!") when she gets carried away by those bug swarms on the Suicide run if you don't have a good enough biotic.



I totally freaked out, turned off my 360 and rocked back and forth for the night...

Wow. I. I would never have brought her along with me. Not with Garrus protecting her in the other team.

Question: Does Shepard freak out more when his Love interest dies?

Wouldn't know. I never lost anyone during my first playthrough.

nope, if you have the sniper rifle proficiency, only soldiers and infiltrators have it, then when you come upon the weapon cache on the collector ship, you have the option of choosing a weapon class that you have no proficiency with, or choose an almighty weapon in a proficiency that you DO have.  i chose the widow on my soldier since i already had the geth pulse rifle (and was quite pleased with it), and i used the widow a LOT.  couldnt do as much damage as an infiltrator with it, but, i was able to 1 shot collector drones (through their full shields too) with head shots, and 2 shot the collector assassins and guardians.  adrenaline rush worked WONDERS in tandem with a sniper rifle.

   Well thats good to know.... now if i complete my first play through as an engineer, and say i picked sniper rifle from the weapon pile on my first play through, does that proficiency carry over to new game plus?

Put Tali in the second slot in the final battle with the human reaper. You save Tali from falling but she also grabs you when you make the leap to the shuttle. At least, that's what Samara did when she was in the second slot.

Maybe, but I think it might have more to do with the overhead window that shows the blue pulsating light of FTL.

I don't know. I lost three people, but none of them were Tali (if it was, I'd have to start the playthrough again and run through another 30 hours so Tali doesn't die), so I wouldn't know.

no you can only do it once new game + just skips it

i wouldnt know either.  but, my first playthrough i had tali sliding down the platform.  i was screaming at my pc monitor, and i was sitting on the edge of my seat.  it really was a nailbiter of a situation.  just made me even more nervous when later on tali was underneath the piece of metal that fell on her.  i was like "not again!!!  DONT DIE ON ME TALI!!!!!!!!!"

Hey, for all we know, the three humans simply cut off their pinky fingers! I'd imagine it's a lot harder to *grow* a finger than it is to lose one! >.> <.<

in my canon playthrough i grabbed mordin for some reason and tali pulled me onto the normandy. it was the same squad config ive always had and every other time it was me grab tali, tali grab me. was weird

Yeah I didnt know on my first playthrough (where I romanced Tali) who slides down is first or second. I dont remember what I picked Tali, but I know she slid down. It worked out so well, that I picked her as the right number (1 or 2). Mann. Awesome.

   You and me both Pathogen.  I lost Thane and Grunt on my First playthrough, and by some random bit of luck i had Tali do the power slide of deah.  I too was on the edge of my seat because i did'nt know what to expect and i was nearly shouting at my Shepard "Catch her freaking hand damn it!!!"
