thats how i always handled the collectors on my insanity soldier. i always had my two squadmates focus on harbinger and keep him occupied while i sniped the other collectors with mah widow. once they were all gone, i could focus all my attention on harbinger without fear of him "assuming control" of another collector.
i was a little annoyed to find that no matter what they will be saved, on my playthrough getting shepard to die at the end i was interested to see if they fell but no.cypherx82 wrote...

i wouldnt know either. but, my first playthrough i had tali sliding down the platform. i was screaming at my pc monitor, and i was sitting on the edge of my seat. it really was a nailbiter of a situation. just made me even more nervous when later on tali was underneath the piece of metal that fell on her. i was like "not again!!! DONT DIE ON ME TALI!!!!!!!!!"
I swear my heart stopped beating for that entire cutscene.

nope i did it thinking i could get the sniper rifle and when it should have came up with the menu for the guns the screen kinda blipped and then i was waling around...so maby it glitched but i dont think so...crappy think is i made a sentinal and all he got was shotgun training he didnt get any weps..../sighThe_KFD_Case wrote...

Speaking of the Widow, since Shepard has the choice of several unique weapons onboard the Collector vessel (I picked the Revenant - badass AR) but can only pick one, is he able to pick up a second one if you play the game again with the same Shepard?

My 3rd playthrough I was a total renegade bastard, and let everyone die including shepard.
I have to say though, if you have never seen the scene where Shepard dies you should -- its very moving...
Though I never got why Joker couldn't of just pulled me up <_<

I have to say though, if you have never seen the scene where Shepard dies you should -- its very moving...

nope, if you have the sniper rifle proficiency, only soldiers and infiltrators have it, then when you come upon the weapon cache on the collector ship, you have the option of choosing a weapon class that you have no proficiency with, or choose an almighty weapon in a proficiency that you DO have. i chose the widow on my soldier since i already had the geth pulse rifle (and was quite pleased with it), and i used the widow a LOT. couldnt do as much damage as an infiltrator with it, but, i was able to 1 shot collector drones (through their full shields too) with head shots, and 2 shot the collector assassins and guardians. adrenaline rush worked WONDERS in tandem with a sniper rifle.

Brittle bones.... tying to lift 240 lbs of pure muscle plus power armor and weapons would probably give him stress fractures.
i could be wrong but its kind of the way i interperted it.

I don't know. I lost three people, but none of them were Tali (if it was, I'd have to start the playthrough again and run through another 30 hours so Tali doesn't die), so I wouldn't know.

Maybe, but I think it might have more to do with the overhead window that shows the blue pulsating light of FTL.
