I remember reading that post of yours. I wanted to agree with you at the time but let it go, but what the heck! Yeah, my next girlfriend, wherever she may be and whomever she may be, has her work cut out for her (then again, that may very well be the case for me as well in regards to getting on her good side).
^_^

Good luck to you with that!

I actually have a friend of the opposite sex that I've known *very* well for four years now. She's (almost) everything I look for in a partner: Smart, funny, knows what she wants, innocent enough to be innocent, but she's not naive. The chemistry is definately there, and we both know it. Problem is, she's always with some guy or another, and I'm too worried that our friendship would be effed if anything did happen, then we broke it off later.

Why can't RL choices be as easy as the ones in ME? :(

i know right, why cant we save ask her something then if its not what we wanted simply reload.....why is life so complicated lol

also I have to come up with things to say on my own... no planned out responses to choose from in the bottom of my vision

Ya, and even if there were, you'd be constantly poking yourself in the eye screaming "Paragon Interrupt!"

But if you look at what Legion talks about it sounds like they really aren't aggressive at all, that is the ones that rejected the Reapers. It sounds like they don't understand organic life and are observing them as much as possible in an attempt to understand them.

Did anybody think Legion might have developed an inkling of individuality? If you prod enough about the N7 plate he's got and why he chose that one he just goes silent for a little while then says "no data available."

Before Geth are able to build their superstructure like he was talking about, they should upgrade to mobile platforms with 1k plus programs like Legion.
He WAS a person, I have no doubt in my mind.  You look at the N7 armor and you see into his f-in soul man.
I really liked Legion,

The short answer: Because in real life we have to deal with real consequences.

Now I haven't seen you and your lady friend together (that I'm aware of at any rate), and it's easier said than done, but I'd say that the next time she's not in a relationship (and seems emotionally ready) why not bring it up gently? Yeah, it's going to bite a big one if it blows up in your face but ilfe's too short and none of us are getting any younger, especially if you two do compliment each other so well. Like the good Shepard says at one point in ME2, "Nothing worthwhile ever comes easily", right?

...And just to keep this related to Tali, isn't that precisely what she did with Shepard? ;)

well the quarians tried to kill them all and by legions talks the geth seem to regret how far they went in the war.

Out of respect for Tali, I did not even really entertain activating Legion.  I just did not want it to harm our harmonic.  Tali really hates geth, and I don't blame her.

REAL MEN DON"T CRY...

Considering the pressure men face in many societies not to cry because it's seen as weak, I argue that being able to cry as a grown man is in fact true strength and the courage to be true to yourself even in the face of overwhelming pressure.

Thats  tough situation to be in speaking from experience  I have learned that you can't force these things but you also can't hold back either. One of the biggest killers of any relationship ... is the fear of "What If", "What if  this happens, "What if that happens"     If you get your chance go for it, tell her and trust her to see the man that you  are and if its meand to be it will be.

When I said "we both know it" I really meant that. We've already discussed this on a few occasions. A few of the limiting factors are the differences between our families, and our lifestyles. She trusts me more than anyone else, and I well and truly love her. Just need to wait for the right moment.

I've let a lot of stuff slip by. This isn't gonna' be one of them. I've already made that decision.

And to whoever said something about "And I don't have pre-chosen dialogue options at the bottom of my vision to choose" that would be insanely helpful. Life would be like a multiple choice quiz!

I would never accept any persons sublte or blatant xenophobia / Racism in real life, so why would I entertain it in my games?

I did like Governator did. I gave Legion to Cerberus. Tali had her father killed by the Geth. Her entire people are screwed over because of the Geth. And Shepard wants a Geth on the Normandy? Risky. I roleplayed as "myself" and I didn't recruit Legion, as I reasoned that I would be too suspicious of AI, especially the Geth who I fought along with Sovereign. In addition, there is the fact that Tali wouldn't be too keen on it. In ME3 I will support the Quarians against the Geth and hopefully Tali will have her homeworld back. Along with a house with Shepard.

Yeah, that is what you should do. There was a girl i liked, for years. And i never took my courage to talk to her.
Well, finally i thought that i am going to tell her how i feel but then it was too late.

Sometimes you just have to get a quad and jump in there. At least you would get closure.
It would still be better then years passing and you being uncertain about what could have been.

Yeah, I guess so! But I already made a post that pretty much covers these issues before seeing your post. D:

But anywho, I didn't mean to derail the thread with aspects of my personal life. I'll keep it under wraps!

How come I have the feeling that the only thing the Quarians need to do is ask the Geth to leave their world? It seems so...weirdly possible lol.

We share that feeling. As long as the Geth are not attacked I don't think they would get in the way.

Hmmm, I'd rather facilitate diplomacy between them, that way the quarians can reclaim their home world and the galaxy keeps both the largest armada of ships and the giant military power of the geth intact for when the Reapers come.

I had heard rumors that the Conflict scene was reversed with Legion pulling a gun on Tali, but once I'd gone down and talked to him I realized that couldn't be the case.

Tali is a very important part in shaping how Quarian's view the Geth, it was good I didn't cater too heavily to her emotions, and she gets over herself pretty quickly. Even lets Legion send back some non-essential data about the Creators.

Like Caduceus says, once I met Legion I realized there was a good chance for peace. Its quite clear the Geth have no specific need for the Quarian homeworld, and if they can become accepted by the rest of the galaxy we can offer some inhospitable (to organics anyway) region of the galaxy thats rich in resources and more suited to their tastes. Its a win-win.

t doesn't affect anything with her. Hell, I took her along on Legion's loyalty mission.

Although, there is a confrontation between the two after you do both of their loyalty missions. Unless your paragon/renegade is high enough, you'll have to make a choice that'll cause you to lose loyalty with one of them.

Props, bro!  I just did not have the heart to do that to Tali, but I did not give Legion to cerberus.  My Shepard hates Cerberus.  I just let it rot wherever we put it on the ship.  Seems a shame that you don't have the option to just leave it on the reaper.
