I'd like to see her continue as a romance interest. Towards the end of the game (since we haven't seen a true Quarian face) I think that she should end up in a life or death situation and as she lays there dying, she pulls a Darth Vader and says "Let me look on you with my own eyes" and bam we know what Quarians look like...Ultimate reference/homage.

... what if she dies in ME2?  We want her to be a squad member for the whole game and to have lots of lines (same with Garrus for me) but since its possible that they could have died in ME2, bioware might think "Oh... why waste so much time doing voice-acting and animations when the character probably is dead in most people's files? *DUBS MINOR APPEARANCE LIKE ASHLEY/KAIDAN/WREX if she's alive*"

See to me Mass Effect 3 will be the payoff of Everyone's decisions, and since they don't have to think about another game in the series (with Shepard's story) They can have the most customizability of the 3. (Expecting a 3 disc game) The survivors from 2, The Romances from 1 & 2 etc. Whether or not you went Renegade or Paragon or  a mix of both.  With 3 all bets are off. It SHOULD be the most unique experience for each player who've played the previous 2 games depending on your decisions.

Yes Tali should be back, even if you don't  romance,  and she survives,Tali is your Best Girl Friend in the game and her and Garrus should be Squaddies in 3 if they survive.

I agree it would be excellent to see her in ME3, even perhaps bringing back others who would follow Shepard to hell and back. I like the main story but I think the Quarian story is very intresting and could be extensive.



I think it would be nice to make her a perminant member of your crew, perhaps through a "Halo:ODST" stand alone style game that would actually play out the end of the Quarian/Geth confrontations.



Finally, even if we didnt see her face (which I dont see what the big deal is) seeing what A quarian looks like without the biosuit (not nake...pervert :-P ), so perhaps the fans can kind of better direct their fantasy of what they think she looks like? of course you could just show us too :-P

As a compromise though - Maybe we could see *part* of another Quarian's face. But not Tali.

Guys, relax! BioWare read these forums regularly, they know very well that Tali is easily _the_ most popular and lovable character in the ME franchise. They simply have no choice but to bring her back and give her a big and significant role in ME3 because otherwise all hell will break loose on these forums, bricks will be shat, faces destroyed, email accounts of BioWare spammed into oblivion and kittens killed

In all seriousness, I suspect that even BioWare themselves could not anticipate the effect Tali's character in ME2 will have on her popularity. I wouldn't be surprised if the team working on ME3 is rewriting parts of the game's script to incorporate more Tali. I even suspect that we might see in ME3 even if she died in the Collector base. After all, the Lazarus Project was successful in bringing a human back to life once, no reason it couldn't be used again to bring a Quarian back to life

All in all, it seems to me at this point that out of the 12 characters in ME2, Tali's chances to reappear and play a major role in ME3 are the highest.

Meh. All the love interests from both games should come back and offer some satisfying closure since ME3 will be the last game. Or at least the last with Shepard.

Honestly, I don't think we have much to worry about, Tali is a beloved constant and I get the feeling that there will be a good number of the original squad in ME3. I also suspect that if you died and had to start again (assuming we start from scratch with a new Shepard rather than a totally new character to take their place, which was my original belief after hearing early reports about the nature of the suicide mission) then the cannon ending is probably that Tali & Garrus made it through.... I hope, oh gawwwd I hope so hard! (So that rather than Tali and Garrus being bonus characters for those who kept them alive, they might be standard characters who might just not be available on some saves? But... what do I know? Spec-you-layshun!

Yeah, I lurrrve Tali, but I KNOW what she looks like... if they take her mask off and show me her face, she won't look the same and sure, I'll still love her, but... she'll be broken.
(Although I won't cry about it if they do show her face... I just hope they make a good job of it.)

I have to agree that I would love to see Tali as a squadmate in ME3. I busted my but to save my entire crew and got my entire team out alive so that they could all make a reappearance in the the third game. Although I am one of those people that will never romance Tali because see reminds me of my little sister.

I do want to see what Tali looks like with her mask off.  I mean come on its a game.  If you are really seriously in love with her (which is a little creepy if you ask me) then you will love her for her looks and personality.
