So my roommate watched my play through of ME2 from start to finish (He doesn't work, so as soon as I got home he'd be all, "You gonna play Mass Effect now?") and when I started talking to him about how much I liked Tali from the first Mass Effect, he just said, "Whatever." After I did her recruitment and loyalty mission though, I pretty much had him hooked.
So when I started the romance with Tali, he kept saying, "She's so cute! Tali is totally my favorite character!"

On a side note. Anyone else had this problem. My first playthrough I had Miranda ready to go more or less. She was just waiting for it to quiet down abit. Then I got Tali, started talking to her, got her loyalty mission. Did the mission with a tear in my eye. Talked some more, and she started flirting and one thing led to another. And I suddenly found myself explaining to Miranda that it wasn't going to work between us, then I ran right back down to Tali to continue flirting with her. And completed the romance with Tali right before the final mission.

So I figured I'd go for Miranda on my second playthrough. Only problem is, its going the same way as the last time. I'm like one or two conversations away from where Tali will ask me to choose basically. And to be honest, I think Miranda will have to remain disappointed.

Me too. I keep trying to go after Jack but I just can't go all the way before runnin' back to Tali. lol

Well think about it; everyone has their own perfect image of Tali. Finally revealing her face would ruin that for many people.

I will be decently satisfied if she has kind of white glowing-ish eyes (Like riddick) and decently attractive facial features.

Hmm maybe I should try that multiple relationship thing out. I want to hear her be like, you choose her or me. I'd be like. That's opinion, not fact. Only bioware knows the real percentile. And Tali/Garrus' roles in ME2 seemed pretty indicative...

if mass effect was played through the first person perspective instead of a free floating cinematic/over the shoulder camera we would have all seen tali's face...



and i have to agreed with everyone here. Seeing tali face would finally give a face to the lovable quarian we all love (although her mask is her face, think of tali think of the mask...). But i also agreed that she doesn't need/ shouldn't have a face under the mask. Everyone is free to fantasize what they personally think is the perfect tali face. Lack of codex description or developer pictures hints that they don't plan on revealing the face (at least in the near future).

In short: tali needs a face, but not really cuz she already has one...





note: "the majority of players preferr(ing) other relationships" don't have forum posts that hit 45 pages in a day...

Yes, most awesome original squad members ever. Why not another Lazerous Project or something in case your ME2 Garrus/Tali died. Then they can just use that plot scenario and we can do our happy dances cause our male (or) female shephard's snuggle-buddy is back. Haha.

Ew. No more back-to-life stuff. just make the characters available depending on if they died or not. replace them with a new one if they died.

Or just make some of the characters canon-survivors(I.E. they live regardless of if they died in your ME2 playthrough, much like Shepard. You can't import a dead Shepard).
