We shouldve seen her face in the romance scene. I was really excited to see her face, so the romance scene was a big disappointment to me
The romance scene was disappointing to me too and at first I thought it was because I didn't see her face. In the end I'm happy I haven't. The disappointment of the romance-scene is that they jumped on the bed and there it ended.
Now, I didn't have to see the actual deed (like in ME1). I just would've loved to see the romantic part more. The way they touched eachother while standing at the FTL core was so realistic and heartwarming that I think I was actually blushing at that moment. The way they touched. The way she was caressing Shepard's arm and hand while talking to him at that core.. it was SO realistic because that's exactly the stuff people do when they finally know they share the same intimate feelings for eachother. I would've liked to see more of that stuff before she literally jumped him.
Besides, I think it would've been more like Tali to guide him towards the bed while kissing instead of leaping. But that's just the way I think.
EXACTLY what I was thinking.
Bioware has REALLY outdone themselves with Mass Effect 2. The most notable, is the romances. In ME1, It was just talk, flirt, talk, kiss, sex.
In Mass Efect 2, however, it was COMPLETELY different.
Characters were so realistic it made it such an emotional moment.
Particuarly with Tali, I absolutely loved how Tali was moving her arms, touching Shepard, caressing him. And with ME2, it was a Tali Lovers dream come true basically. Her character in ME2 is practically the best, bar-none in the whole package.
It would just be such a shame to not see any of these developments in ME3.
ME3 would be the FINAL Mass Effect game (of the trilogy -- not counting spinoffs); It's a chance for bioware to completely go all out in every aspect of the game. Sure, they may have felt limited in ME2 because they had to make preparations for ME3, but now that that's over they should push it foward into things that we wouldn't even THINK of being in a game at this time.
All I ask for ME3 is the continuation of the already Epic Tali Romance sub-plot in ME2

*Edit: I will also say that I applaud Bioware for actually making tears in ME2.
Sure some were a bit iffy, but It was an amazing touch that I don't think any game has ever done before.
Kudos Bioware, Kudos.
