We shouldve seen her face in the romance scene. I was really excited to see her face, so the romance scene was a big disappointment to me

The romance scene was disappointing to me too and at first I thought it was because I didn't see her face. In the end I'm happy I haven't. The disappointment of the romance-scene is that they jumped on the bed and there it ended.

Now, I didn't have to see the actual deed (like in ME1). I just would've loved to see the romantic part more. The way they touched eachother while standing at the FTL core was so realistic and heartwarming that I think I was actually blushing at that moment. The way they touched. The way she was caressing Shepard's arm and hand while talking to him at that core.. it was SO realistic because that's exactly the stuff people do when they finally know they share the same intimate feelings for eachother. I would've liked to see more of that stuff before she literally jumped him.

Besides, I think it would've been more like Tali to guide him towards the bed while kissing instead of leaping. But that's just the way I think.

Well Tali is easily my favorite character in the game. Based on my ME 1 class (soldier) I needed a tech to come along with me, and Tali was ever-present in my ME 1 party from the moment I got her - generally also with Liara since I wanted a biotic along, as well, and it fit as my "main" Shepard is a female one, so a trio of chicks saving the galaxy sounded cool - especially with Jennifer Hale's voice.

So I got very used to her, and very much enjoyed her in ME 1.

Her as a romance option in ME 2 for male Shepard is why I'm playing through my male Paragon from ME 1 in ME 2 - I want to see Ashley's reaction that I cheated on her with Tali.

In my first ME 2 playthrough, I also brought Tali along on every mission (generally with whoever's loyalty mission I was doing, although since I also played soldier again, when that slot was free I usually went with Jack as my biotic).

In my current Sentinal male Paragon playthrough, I'm really liking going around with Tali and Mordin (which I settled on at the end of my female Renegade soldier playthrough, as well).

Tali was easily the most likable character in ME 1 (followed by Liara, Wrex, Garrus, Ashley and I always choose to kill Kaiden). In ME 2, for me it's very close with Tali and Mordin, and if Legion where there more, he'd be 3rd, followed by Grunt, Garrus, Morinth, Miranda and Thane. Jacob, Jack and Zaeed I could do without.

Does Tali really need saving, though? From what? She's alive at the end of my ME 2 games, and better be recruitable in ME 3!

I would expect the ME 3 recruitables would be Tali, Garrus, the survivors of ME 1 (Liara and either Ashley or Kaiden), as well as Miranda and Jacob if Cerberus is still involved, and Mordin and Legion to be recruitable, as well as a couple new ones. Maybe not all from ME 2, but I was able to have everyone survive in my very first playthrough, and I would hope that Bioware wouldn't assume massive deaths and write the ME 2 companions very small parts (like Liara and Ashley and I'm assuming Kaiden have in ME 2) in ME 3.

I will be disappointed if my final party at the end of ME 3 for my female Shepard isn't Tali and Liara (my favorite character and my love interest), and if my male Shepard's isn't Tali and either Mordin or someone new that's equally cool, like Legion or a new companion).

I have the impression Jacob, Zaeed and Jack are the least liked companions of ME2? I have that based solely on my feelings though and I wonder how wrong I am.

Logic claims that Tali will be a companion in Mass Effect 3, indeed. I was a huge fan of Garrus in ME1 but I think he lacked personality in ME2. I'd still like to see him back in ME3 as a companion though.

As for Liara: She can burn in hell for all I care. How I was interested in her in ME1 back in the days is beyond me...

To be completely honest: I don't care who's gonna be a companion in ME3 as long as Tali is one!

Shepard: *walks in on Tali pointing a gun at Legion*
....Tali?

Tali: Shepard! He was trying to scan my omni-tool!

Shepard: Legion, is this true?

Legion: Yes, Shepard Commander.

Shepard: ...Well WHY were you going through her Omni-tool?

Legion: This platform wanted to make a simple message to the others.

Shepard: Well what's wrong with that Tali?

Tali: W-well, he doesn't know how to operate it, what if he presses a wrong button or something?

Legion: Unlikely. We are very knowledgeable in Omnitools. See?

This thread keeps growing....   I'm sure the devs are going to notice sooner if not latter.

EXACTLY what I was thinking.

Bioware has REALLY outdone themselves with Mass Effect 2. The most notable, is the romances. In ME1, It was just talk, flirt, talk, kiss, sex.

In Mass Efect 2, however, it was COMPLETELY different.
Characters were so realistic it made it such an emotional moment.
Particuarly with Tali, I absolutely loved how Tali was moving her arms, touching Shepard, caressing him. And with ME2, it was a Tali Lovers dream come true basically. Her character in ME2 is practically the best, bar-none in the whole package.

It would just be such a shame to not see any of these developments in ME3.
ME3 would be the FINAL Mass Effect game (of the trilogy -- not counting spinoffs);  It's a chance for bioware to completely go all out in every aspect of the game. Sure, they may have felt limited in ME2 because they had to make preparations for ME3, but now that that's over they should push it foward into things that we wouldn't even THINK of being in a game at this time.

All I ask for ME3 is the continuation of the already Epic Tali Romance sub-plot in ME2 :)

*Edit: I will also say that I applaud Bioware for actually making tears in ME2.
Sure some were a bit iffy, but It was an amazing touch that I don't think any game has ever done before.

Kudos Bioware, Kudos.

I don't think there's a hurry. So far I'm pleasantly surprised that this thread didn't meet any opposition yet. I think I can safely say that anyone that would oppose to this thread simply isn't human! ^^

I just changed my signature to the one many are starting to have. I fully support that idea!

There is no doubt!

I've already adjusted my weekly schedule to post in this thread atleast once per week until the game comes out. That's a pretty big commitment, but that's how bad I want her in. I experienced emotions I've never experienced before while playing games, thanks to Tali.

This support is worth it.

I just made a fan club for Tali here: http://social.bioware.com/group/1305/

I would like you to edit this post: http://social.biowar.../index/913054/1

and put something in it like: "join our official fan club here: http://social.bioware.com/group/1305/ "

The group will link back to your thread and I will make you an officer of the group.

If you would do that I would be glad.
Thanks!
