I seriously hope they won't make her just a cameo in ME3 like Wrex was in M2, that would totally ruin the whole experience for me. It would be such an anticlimax. ;__;
We definitely need her to be a squadmember and a continued LI.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it. However, we have at least two years until Me3?
No harm in starting early i guess. lol

Actually right now is a very good time for people to be talking about what they want to see in ME3 since they just recently began work on the game. It's easiest for Bioware to write things in now than to have to go back and make changes later.

The reason alot of people love Tali is because she's classically a Male's (and some female's) version of the perfect mate.
Intelligent and strong yet vulnerable and shy. Combine that with a good dose of mystery and that "I will always be there for you" vibe and POOF!!!
Instant love.. lol
I can not go against this logic. She is all of these things and then when you add the emotional tie ins of you saving her multiple times and helping her deal with the lose of her father and almost her people it becomes a force that is unstoppable. Tali's romance is one that has been built up over time. Unlike your ME1 relationship it was not forced. It just happened naturally over time. It feels more realistic and has a stronger connection. I just went through ME1 again last night to see if I could get the same feeling for Liara but couldn't. Tali still just drew me in more even though she was not a potential LI in that game. Tali is the perfect mate and it is a love built on a stronger foundation then simple physical attraction. You got to know her first and live through some adventures with her and she grew on you. Trust was formed and then infatuation turned into love. Her story is one for the ages. It is not to say that Liara doesnt love you story wise. She clearly loves you and Bio Ware is going through great lengths to show that she is the main LI in this story regardless of who you pick yourself but I still feel a much stronger less forced connection to Tali. I will change my signature but let it be known that Bio Ware clearly listens to their fans and they know how much we love Tali. The fact that she is such a deep LI in this game is because fans cried out in the ME1 forums about her not being one. In their own words at the time they had no idea anyone would be interested in her that way because of the way she looked but they gave the fans what they asked for. They know how much it would hurt sales and ****** people off if they took that away from us. I do hope that they let you keep your current LI and romance them throughout the game should you choice to stay loyal to them with lots of dialog and LI based activities. The galaxy is getting ready for the biggest war of all time and it will affect every being so people will be trying to live everyday like there is no tomorrow. I can see ME characters taking time to appreciate what little time they may have left by both preparing for war and enjoying each others company since they may never get another chance. Now if someone could just get the Normandy to port so I can have a clean room installed to replace my office space. I need a safe place for me and my woman to get it on!

Right, then I stand corrected.
I had no idea they were penning the third story all ready.

So in Mass Effect 2, we'll most likely see new squadmates...
Anyways, here's my point!
In my honest opinion, Mass Effect would not be the same without Tali. No, I am not exaggerating. Tali is amazing, and I am proud to call myself a fanboy, damn it. She MUST be in Mass Effect 3. Unless she dies, and you import, that is. If she lives, she MUST remain a squad member, and if you romanced her, she MUST remained romanced in ME3. Wouldn't that be amazing, stepping into ME3 with an already romanced Tali, and having a full on romance experience throughout the ENTIRE game and not just before the last mission?
C'mon, guys! We need Tali!
I highly doubt anyone will do what I am suggesting, but if you are a true Tali fan, like myself, then please, change your signature to "I support Tali for Mass Effect 3!"
Supporting Evidence that Tali could likely remain a squad member:
Tali's name is changed from Tali'Zorah vas Neema to Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, meaning she's basically tied to the ship. I'm assuming that she wouldn't leave, even if she wanted. (Unless BioWare pulls a mean scapegoat, like make her an Admiral of the Flotilla... facepalm)
It MUST be done!
There is no way that Bioware will not bring Tali back. I hope that when the writers come up with a safe way for Tali and me to keep getting our groove on in ME3 she looks like Aishwarya Rai or some other Ballywood hottie, once they show what she looks like behind the mask.
