Yeah I also go to sleep thinking about her and Mass Effect in general. Can't get back to reality, stuck in the ME universe. I always load my endgame save and look at Shep and Tali sleeping on the bed for some reason, lol.

I somehow don't think it'll be 4th quarter of 2011, I think it'll be Q1... but I don't know.

I also assure myself to feel better since we'll be getting some DLC here and there.

well tbh i like Tali in theg ame because of her personality but i also like her because she reminds me of a girl i like in Real life... let's just say it's worked out better in ME then it has in Real life (hopefully that will change tho...)

Definitely. I waited all of ME1 and most of ME2 to romance Tali. It hurt to see her go back to the recycled dialog after the end. I would KILL to have her be in ME3 from the start as a romance. You get to really build it during the whole game. That'd be epic.

Its too bad that since she could die in the end of ME2, she probably won't return in a meaningful way.

As much as I love Tali, I do swap my squad members all the time. I take her now and then but she doesn't get more time than others since I always want to play with everyone.

Well, she's a good tech, though she lacks a good ranged weapon. So sometimes I swap her out - its annoying then I have too, but her shotgun can be useful. If I'm playing biotic, her and Grunt/Garrus/Legion/Zaeed works well. I hit them with singularities, she cracks their shields, and he kills them with assault rifles or sniper power.

Well the cuddling does look really sweet.

Either what I said, or Q1 2012, I think. And hopefully, yes DLC. I remember someone saying something about lots of planned DLC for ME2 earlier in the thread.

knowing Bioware they're probably just waiting for feedback on the game then they're probably gonna release a patch and some DLC... i also heard there making some DLC of a pilotable vehicle (i wondered what those vehicle controls were for...)

I would love for that to be the case. I just can't imagine them spending a lot of time doing the work required for her to matter, only for half the players have her dead at the end. I know you can just replace her but I dunno. I am skeptical.
Don't get me wrong though. If Any ONE character comes back, let it be Tali. ....and Garrus!

Probably. I wish PC DLC was free with BioWare like it is with Valve. Ah well. It's never that expensive. Damn EA.

This thread exists!! I refuse to accept the fact that when I save tali, she won't have a big role because some people didn't. And I hear alot about how if they reveal Tali's face it will ruin players images of her. I have posted pictures of what I think she could look like, but to be honest when I really think about it, I can't picture what her face looks like besides what you see through the mask. So it wouldn't ruin it for me at all, because I can't picture what she looks like to begin with. i've said it before and I say it again, Tali = big role in ME3!! and make revealing face a choice!!! Keep this thread going, it will definitely get Biowares attention, if it hasn't already.

Think about it. Canon Ending is actually the ship getting upgraded all the way.
There is no way she'd be left out. or put into the game in a meanless way.

Bioware finally realized that her character is a strong arm of the Bioware Community. Getting Rid of her would be Crippling one of those arms. they would not disappoint us in such a manner.

They Love Us. and I have Faith in them.

Besides. if they wanted to Kill off Tali... they would have done it already. it just goes to show. Tali and Garrus + Returning for ME2 = BIG PLANS FOR ME3

Actually it's very likely she'll return in a very meaningful way. Hopefully Bioware integrates her more into the main story, or at least the quarians more. That way if she survives she can affect dialogue and what not.

Because unless you end up killing shepard in the suicide mission, a max of 4 of your squad mates can die. That means that the rest are all alive and well. And judging by the response from all the rest of the people on this board, most people only have had 2 of less people die.

Knowing all of that, we can reasonably assume, that Bioware will create the dialogue for all of your ME2 characters, minus Zaeed (I hope shepard somehow kills him in between games) and Thane (a cure must be found!) because these two are the most likely to be gone. Although anything is possible there.

So when ME3 starts out and you import a save game, depending on who is alive or dead, the game will automatically lock out certain squad members based upon whether they're alive or dead. This can also be applied to anyone in ME1 they wish to bring over.

The only sad part is that bioware may pull a ME2 with the cameos, although that seems entirely far fetched i wouldn't put it passed them.
