I'd rather you guys have used this time to release the toolset and waited more to tone down the difficulty for more reports than pretty much handhold people.
Ugh. At least let me roll back the update.

'Made easy difficulty easier'
'Slightly increased attack etc for all party members at Normal Difficulty'
LOL, it can't be that difficult. I've been playing on hard all this time and I only had trouble with an orange-ranked Revenant, which was the first time Shale died tanking
Even early on when it began to get challenging after the Origin story, I killed the boss-ogre in the Ostagar tower on my second attempt. Even then, it was because the first time I ran through the door all my guys had been on half health...
But then again, if you don't like the changes to normal difficulty why don't you just play on hard or something (please bioware don't change the upper-difficulty levels, it is named 'hard' for a reason

Wait... can you EVER revert or SKIP patches on Steam products?

Well, at least it's only Easy and Normal that have been patched. I wouldn't want Hard or Nightmare patched to be easier.

Also I play on Hard but the point is that this was supposed to be the successor to Baldur's Gate 2 which didn't pull any punches, so why should this? Why continue dumbing down games? 50 years from now games will just consist of a single screen that says "Press A to win" at this rate.

Not everyone measures their self worth on how hard a game is.

# Fixed potential corruption of character statistics
# Fixed portrait appearance sliders when importing a character from the downloadable Character Creator
# Fixed import for preset face settings from the downloadable Character Creator
# Fixed video issues when running on a very wide screen display, including ATI Eyefinity displays
I don't mind it. Those who want the challenge can pick hard or nightmare, while those who just want to enjoy the story can pick easy. Normal doesn't seem to be affected too drastically. It's just upping your party's stats a bit during combat.

That is my beef with you guys. That and the fact that this time and resources could have been used to release the toolset quicker... you know the thing that makes your community and game last longer?
You didn't even give people enough time to write about strategies. You just gave into a bunch of kids expecting Fable 2 where you can tie a drinking bird to the Ranged attack button to beat.

The sky is not falling, and this is not some personal insult to you.
Just enjoy your game and let other people enjoy theirs.

Not everyone for example has played BG2, especially with mods like Tactics or Sword Coast Strategems, Ascension for ToB etc (jesus, now THAT was a challenge).

If you guys actually read my posts you could formulate better responses, but then again you are accustomed to pushing 1 button to win games, why should I expect you guys to read and not over-exaggerate?

Bioware, if you waited a MONTH to do this just to see if players could get acclimated to the game I wouldn't have minded.......
