Oh, THAT patch.  Yeah I am actually a bit surprised that they decided to make "easy" mode "easier".  Wasn't it already pretty easy to begin with?  But hey, I guess not everybody is adept at playing games, so making "easy" mode even easier I suppose opens it up to people that have never played these games before and might make it more enjoyable for them to be able to virtually just walk through the game instead of have their butts handed to them too frequently.

I really don't know what happened to the Bioware forums. This is as bad as WoW. When I start seeing accusations of 'babies' and directions to 'l2p', followed by a smattering of 'morons' in a place I used to have earmarked for thoughtful discussion, it's really pretty sad.



On topic, I'm happy they're patching it up. Wish I could access said patches, though.

I find the game challenging, but I consider that a good thing. It's hard but not cheap. My only wish is that there was a practice arena to fine tune your party tactics without dying a bunch of times in game.

I like how you come out, guns blazing and crying, but when other people say something to you, you try to anger them by asking them why they are getting upset. They aren't upset, you're pissing them off by acting that way. I agree with your post though, don't think they should have patched that stuff in. On the other hand, it affects you not at all.

Its amusing all the people complaining that they slightly made normal less challenging. Its NORMAL. If you find it to easy change the difficulty, and it doesn't impact you. Its idiotic to complain about something like this

So how do you download this patch? Not really interested in making the game easier but some of those bug fixes sound like I really would like them to be fixed. Like for example, character creator fix. I want to import my loveable dalish elf man without his beautiful face being tainted.

I don't know, while I enjoy a challenging game, I'm not really opposed to them making easy and normal at least easier. Normal in this game really is above normal in just about every other cRPG I've played, and I think a lot of people expecting an average level of difficulty on normal would be rather frustrated and overwhelmed. Nightmare truly should be nightmarish though, something only just possible if you play nearly perfectly.
