Does the DLC (e.g. the stone prisoner and blood dragon armor) apply to the first character I make or will the DLC be available to all the characters I make when I start a new game?  I just wanted to know so I can play the game some to get an idea of what character I want to play before I "enable" the DLC or commit to a "full playthrough."

Please advise.
