So, this source code came from a PC version of the game...

I dunno...I would rather not see this on PS3 because, well, Microsoft would lose the few exclusives it has left.

i think its great for all the people who only have a PS3.

It only bothered me when it got announced that it would be released for PC, since i would prefer to play it with mouse and keyboard, but i had already bought it for X360.



anyway, how would they do it?

release only Mass Effect 2 & 3? that'd just suck.

release Mass Effect 1 too? it would have to be budget priced to be fair.

maybe a ME1&2 bundle?

I believe that is the case. I doubt BioWare ever denied the PS3 version and it was hinted by both BioWare and EA employees at many occasions.

hey i own a ps3 as well, love the system and so far what does xbox 360 have that ps3 doesn't, i can tell you 360 wishes it had Uncharted and God of War because halo is getting very very stale

This is in off-topic, it's not going to be locked for being a baseless speculation.



Most likely because Bioware themselves do not know where the franchise is going after this.



Note that Bioware doesn't answer to Microsoft when it concerns Mass Effect anymore, they answer to EA first and foremost. EA is very pro-console and especially equality between PS3 and X360.



If they bring the games over to the PS3, it will most likely be after the release of ME3 and be a trilogy package.



So, all I can say is that this is too early.
