She looks underdeveloped, like shes a 30 year old with a baby chin and cheeks.

Eeeeeew.

Ashley looked like a horse and Miranda looks like she has down syndrome.

She's not really my taste. Square jaw + buck teeth and all that. I think Jack is much, much more attractive.

I'm not afraid to admit that she is very pretty and all around hot, but I don't particularly find myself actively trying to romance her (not that I would object if she wanted to >.>) but I liked the other LI's far more than I did Miranda. Her entire story seemed more like "Oh my god, I had everything but it sucked" kind of story.

Compared to Jack, her daddy issues was really overblown.

Its a video game... she has the perfect body and if you think she is ugly then have fun with a ****ing alien... Nerds with their strange alien fetishes...

its about time someone says the truth. maybe Miranda would get more love on these forums if her face was covered up, wore an envirosuit, and  talked with a russian accent. Get a life people its just a game, an awsome game but a game.

Its the face. It doesn't match the rest of the body. It bugs me to no end.

I have to disagree.

I'm by no means claiming Jack had it easy, but you can't just blow-off what happened to Miranda like that. Her father created her in a lab, didn't care for her, and forbid her to choose her own lot in life. She definitely did not have everything. Sure, she had looks, intelligence, and a rich upbringing, but from what I get she was practically treated like a prized vinyl collection.

Beautiful woman, you folks must need glasses. The woman she is based on is beautiful as well.

As was said, it's uncanny valley at work with her face.

I just laugh every time she says "idear", I know a lot of Aussies, so I'm used to hearing it.

Miranda's face and jaw aren't quite right, she isn't ugly... she just isn't as attractive as the VA she resembles, and certainly not as good looking as she thinks she is

I think it was a design decision since BioWare didn't want to add models into the game that'd drag most people's computers to it's knees.
.....

Make no mistake, it's not a PC performance issue but an X360 performance issue.  Take a look at the unit sales figures and it's not hard to see what platform the Mass Effect series is aimed at.

I'm not saying that she didn't have it rough compared to our standards.
But Christ, compared to Jack, that crap just ain't even on the level. I'm not saying I can't understand how bad it is to have that kind of issues but compared to everyone else it just seems... you know... less than important. Even Jacob. I mean, damn that was messed up. Everyone else's personal quest was pretty damn engaging, and it made Miranda's issues seem a whole lot more exagerated. I mean, she was rich, was given everything she ever wanted (her words) but she had to train from young to be perfect. It's not like she was tortured or beaten if she wasn't perfect.

umm, she said she wasn't the first one, which gave me the impression that he killed or cast away those that weren't good enough

No proof of that, it could only be that he discarded the fetuses that were considered genetically imperfect.

Miranda is a prime example of the Uncanny Valley effect. She has this weird plastic look to her.

The actor looked much better, imho. What i do not like is the very distinct and obvious buck teeth she has going. That jaw is alright for me but could always be less of a square shape. Sure her assets are remarkable but personally, those are only a tiny fraction of what i consider beauty. *shrugs*

Depending on the angle of the shot all of the human faces or human like faces in the game can take on an odd appearence, the same thing happened in ME1. Most like Shepard look odd in a low angle shot and a few do in profile as well. A level shot, straight on is how they all look their best. If she is attractive or not is really dependant on the viewer and their particular preferences.

Miranda looks a lot better in-game than she did in the pre-release screens. A lot better.

And some of you are being huge european cigarettes. She's the perfect woman, according to her genes. That's the perfect person to reproduce with. You bunch of European Cigarettes.

lol @ European Cigarettes
I am not convinced many here will be able to ID that without google.
She looks slightly strange in the white outfit, much MUCH better in the black one (imo).

Her uglyiness comes from her "all about me" attitude.

She has a weird chin, and she was genetically programmed to be "The perfect woman" which I assume means bodily manipulation as well. Even without all that, I think Kelly is much more attractive.

What bugs me if she was actually the perfect face like they said why is she modelled after an actual face, which is inherently imperfect?

Although I have to admit, if they used Alyx Vance as Miranda, that would seriously up the ante.
