Gahh, ok I need some serious help here. I don't know how to open up the Gibbed.exe file. I have downloaded the file from the given link, opened it with winrar and extracted it to multiple places such as my desktop then the general save file then the saved file that I want to alter. No matter where I place it, when I try to initiate the program it throw up "Gibbed.MassEffect2.SaveEdit.exe - Application Error: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application."

I apologize if this is an utterly stupid mistake on my part but I really want to edit the hairstyle of my character.

Thanks for the help

Did you extract the whole zip file? Because there are two .dll files that the application needs to run and if you don't extract them to the same file as the .exe, it won't run.

That's why I used Windows Explorer to extract it, it is easier to extract the whole file.

How can you edit paragon with this or with anything for that matter?

What do you mean?  Do you mean the number of points? Easy, on the Player Tab there are two boxes at the bottom for the different moralities.  Input a number, any number, and that will be how many points you have.  1000 points gets you about 80% to full while 500 gets you just less than Half.

You could also go to the Raw tab and go to Squad>+Player and after selecting the + sign on player, there will be two lines called either paragon or renegade.  The numbers next to them represent the number of points, same as above.

Guys, I've been asking around for a while.
Is there any way to re-activate the missions? I don't want/have time to restart the whole game, but I'd love to replay some of 'em.

Have you tried unchecking all the character boxes? I mean all the boxes associated with a character or all boxes associated with what you want to do, ie "Is Loyal" vs "Acquired".  If you want to replay a character's recruitment mission I suggest unchecking all that character's boxes and if that doesn't work then check the "{Squadmate Name} Revealed", leaving all other boxes unchecked.

If you want to play its loyalty mission then I suggest unchecking the character's "Is Loyal box as well as the "Alternate appearance" box.

Sorry if I'm being stupid, but can you change your Paragon/Renegade points with this? Can't see the option

In version 25, it is under the player tab as well as under that Raw tab>Squad>+Player.

I just downloaded version 25, and i was trying to remove armour piercing ammo from Garrus (rank 3) and give him the 6 points. I did the changes but after saving i am getting an error. The parameter "values" can not be null, but i don´t even know what parameter is the program refering to. The game saved itself just fine thought, should i ignore the error?

edit: The game says that the save game is now corrupt, and not available. Looks like i am missing something here:pinched:

edit2: Ok i finally figured a way to do it. Seems like it is impossible to add talent points to squad members without changing your level. I managed to remove the points in armour piercing ammo, and to add points to other powers.

Just for reference for others who may be interested in this too , what i am going to do (when i start a new game) with Garrus is

-First spend points in concusive shot/overload until i do the loyalty mission.

-When i have the loyalty mission done and 1 point in armour piercing ammo, use the save editor and remove that point from ap ammo, then add one point in the passive ability of Garrus. Save and close the save editor.

This way you are effectively removing one point/adding one and Garrus should end up with 30 points in the end. Hopefully this change is so small that it will not break the compatibility of imported games in the future. The purpose of editing this is to avoid the bug with squad ammo and overlapping ammos.

Sweet. Now I'll just have to re-import my FemShep to fix the awful eyebrows I didn't happen to see when I first imported her, and I won't have to re-play everything.
Hey, you might think eyebrows are a small stupid thingy, but hell, it wasn't she!
(Well, maybe it could have been if Cerberus staff had rebuilt her eyebrows with dead cat's fur)

Thanks!
Yay I'm SO happy!

I just bought the game after I played Mass Effect 1. I was rather disappointed that I could not get the possiblity to romance Kaiden because my character was a male. For ME 2 I have downloaded the editor and tried to change the gender as discribed. But if I do so Shepard becomes a woman. But I want to try a m/m romance.

How can I let Shepard become a woman inside (^^) and a man outside??

Sorry to bump a really old post, but hopefully this should be a quick question for you Gibbed experts: how do you get the "Select Career" screen to recognize your new name? I changed my first name under "Raw," as well as under the landing screen for Gibbed. The name seems changed everywhere except for the "Select Career" screen under "Load," which still displays the old name.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Go to C:\\Users\\Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 2\\Save (or wherever your saved games happen to be located). Find the character you want to change, and rename the folder.

Example: I want to rename my Sentinel, John Shepard, to Tyrone Shepard.
The folder would be "John_33_Soldier_100910"
I'd rename it to "Tyrone_33_Soldier_100910"
Then it should show the new name.

Edit: Weird, its changing all the folders to have two slashes instead of one. For the path to the folder, just use one slash.

Anyone know how to unlock all upgrades?

My first playthrough I noticed I spent so much time looking for freaking blue boxes for the rpg loot grind of the game that I didn't really notice how beautiful the environments were.

I'd love to start a game, unlock all weapons upgrades, and just PLAY.
