Talking to Jacob on the Normandy:

During his dialog about asking you to do his loaylty mission - if you choose the Renegade option as female Shpard, he calls you "Sir".

I actually thought that this was a controller related issue. My controller stick kinda leans to the left side a bit, at times, but it's very, very subtle. Never quite as sharply as a sharp jarring to the left as when I exit a conversation or stay in cover only to have Shephard veering to the left on her own. Worse yet, popping out of cover when she reaches a higher cover to the left.

I've experienced this from Mass Effect 1 as well. What's worse is that this happens quite frequently; which isn't too bad when this happens outside of battle, but most annoyingly, this happens in battles too frequently which causes Shepard to come out of cove doing all such as outlined abovel.

I agree; it happens a lot of the time after exiting conversations, completing the hack/bypass mini-games and backing-out of other interactive objects such as the upgrade station. In these cases, when the menu closes/conversation ends, Shepard will begin to walk to the left and then come to a halt autonomously. As you mentioned, unfortunately this is much worse when in cover during combat as Shepard tends to shuffle to the left but will only come to a halt if I intervene! I'm pretty sure it's not caused by a sticky analogue stick. I would really like this to be fixed, it's the most annoying glitch in my opinion.

The Disc read error comes from corrupted files.  I had to delete 50 hours of game files in order to continue.
Now I have the Grunt not loyal bug.  How do I reload that?  I didn't realize it happened until seveal hours worth
of play later.  Also have the Miranda/Jack thing.  I have 98% paragon and still can't get to that part of the conversartion.

BIOWARE  FIX THIS CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Add to the bug list that the 25% xp bonus sometimes works and sometimes it doesnt. I beat the game twice once on veteran finishing at L27ish. The second playthrough I got the 200k credits and 50k resources AND the 25% xp bonus. I made it to L30 with that playthrough and got the long service medal. Now all my characters I create do not get the 25% xp bonus but do get the 200k, 50k stuff. The xp bonus is bugged.

The bug I found not listed in the 13 pages above is just a minor graphical one on the 360.



Go to the Weapons Locker and tell me if you see any guns not on display... When I researched Legion's Sniper Rifle that didn't show up, nor did the Arc from DLC. It's not really a HUGE issue but it's something that would be cool if they fixed.

Not much of a bug but Zaeeds little resting spot on the Normandy doesn't exist on the map.

Going on the Journal and highlighting a mission and seeing its subcontents, then proceeding to press B really fast makes the menu act a little strange (easily rectified by NOT pressing B so fast).

Thats the bug list that i havent seen on these few pages i've visited.

Now that I think about it, my analogue stick doesn't  veer a game character or steer a car, to the left in all the other games that I've played. It only does this on Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.

By the way, did they by any chance fix the Morinth and Samara fight, where the dialogue just cuts out?

I got up to there on my fourth play and voila! There's audio. I've never gotten audio on that on all my previous plays, and repeated loading.

I've noticed that when I take cover behind a single crate or box. charactor will slide from behind cover when start shooting.

Playthrough with a second character (Imported ME1 Adept) Had a spate of Shepard locking up when in cover (3 or 4 times in a approx 2 hour period) her weapons/powers were greyed out in the command wheel and you couldn't move her (You could move the camera around her.) You could still issue orders to companions and access their skills etc. and she could still get shot and die. [I think it happened once when defending Archangel and the rest of the times were on Purgatory]



Also the game completely froze requiring restart on a loading screen on the Normandy after the Jack Mission [Going from CIC to the Medlab via the elevator.]

Did not see this one, but did not read all the pages, On Grunts recruitment mission, if you use the Blackstrom heavy weapon during the finaly fight it causes the krogan to get stuck in the tanks and sometimes be untargetable or immune to all damage. Thus the fight not ending and not getting the message from EDI about the Okeer.

 Hi all, i've run into a particulary nasty issue, which I can't see posted here...or anywhere on the entire internets Image IPB

It seems to be an error with two of achievements in Mass Effect 2. Gradually whilst going through the game, I was working towards the Overload and Incineration achievements. I didn't get them on my 1st playthrough, which was fine, the totals carried through to my next playthrough, which I'm playing on insanity.

Whilst I'm playing through for the second time I did see the popups for both these achievements triggering throughout the level(s) but they eventually stopped. This lead me to believe that these achievements were being a bit glitchy, didn't think anything of it, but when checking the in game achievement menu, I saw that both of them were listed as 25/25, but the icon was ghosted out.

So now I am not sure what to do, as the game is reporting correctly that I met the criteria for these achievements, but the achievements themselves have not been awarded to me.

I think I'm/it's screwed....as I don't think you can reset achievements can you?

What a shocker another bug/glitch that I believe is caused by the Alternate Appearance Pack (that I shouldn’t have purchased in the first place).

I’ve noticed that since I installed the appearance pack that in the 2 side quest missions I’ve played, a squad mate will get stuck someplace and never move. The first time I had Garrus and Jack on the N7: Captured Mining Facility quest. Jack got stuck and wouldn’t move. The second time it was with Thane and Jacob on the N7: Blood Pack Communications Relay quest. I lost Jacob someplace and he didn’t get a new outfit. Saving and reloading helped me find Jacob before he and Thane both vanished in the battle at the end of that quest.

Anyone else having a similar problem? Should I be worried that in a new game that I’ll be in the Collector ship or in a similar large quest to find out to late that one or both of my squad mates “got stuck” someplace?

If Tali dies during her loyalty mission, you will be unable to see her eyes and her "mouth" won't flash anymore.

I had that problem with Grunt on the N7 Blood Pack Communications Relay quest, but I don't have the alternate appearance pack installed. I think it was a function of the twisty route - too many places for a companion AI to get hung up on if you're moving fast. I had to backtrack a couple of times before he caught up to the party.

I found a few other minor glitches.

When you take Zaeed on the Archangel mission you can see into the head of one of the leaders near the end just before jumping over the wall.
When in Mordin's clinic his finger(s) go through the datapad

In the Codex the Voiceover and text don't fully match up for the following items "I'll be editing this part on & off"
Primary >> Aliens: Non-Council Races >> Krogan
Primary >> Ships and Vehicles >> Normandy Weapon Upgrade: Thanix Magnetic-Hydro
Primary >> Weapons, Armor, and Equipment >> Medi-Gel


Not really a bug but odd it got past QA, The voice difference is just to much between the recycled audio content and new audio content within the Primary tab on the Codex

I don't know if this is apart of the game or not, or is a bug, but I've noticed that sometimes when you level up, some of your squad still don't get any points. Example, I've leveled up 2 times, yet Jacob still doesn't have any points. Is this normal, or is this a bug?

hey everybody,



This is my first time posting in this forum. I tried searching for the "bug" i discovered after completing Tali's loyalty mission in this forum. Couldn't find anything. Anyways the "bug" i discovered was that i didn't earn the correct amount of total credits. I started the mission with about 58000. The mission summary screen says i found 30000 credits and Cerberus funded me 15000 credits for a grand total of 45000 credits. After returning to the Normandy i paused the game to check my credits. My total credits was only 88000. I should have 103000 credits now?! What gives?! Anybody else notice this problem?

Has anyone else experienced the glitch which renders Mouse invisible. Happened to me last night. Sooo strange. I could hear him talking in that corner by Dark Star and his voice even got louder as I approached where he should have been standing. But Mouse himself was nowhere to be seen.

i havent experianced it with mouse YET but have with others. well i diddnt read all the post and asume its been noted but just in case . this BS with getting stuck on crates and tables has got to go. ive noticed its got something to do with the way they handle their mesh on corners IMO .its not that bad when your in a fight senario i found that you just position one of your squad as close to the table/crate/rock as you can and walk on their head to get off . but its happend when not in a fight and now way to direct them to do that . But that only works one situations where you are close to the ground but ive had a couple times, its been like i was on a invisable elevator and ended 15- 20 feet off the floor. I really dont know how this stuff gets past QA. I got stuck on my first crate on the mission you see tali first time , so it was real early in the game . The being able to space walk was kind of fun though but walking through walls of the ship was again a FAIL by QA dept. if they even still exist that is . That last part is IMO

EDIT ive noticed on that one N7 planet where you have to use the lasers to help you find your way . After first encounter with one of those bugs that my team members would start walking backwards ,like back to the landing site so if you dont keep an eye on them next encounter, you have no help . not rally sure where they head off to  i noticed it on the one N7 mission where you shut down that geth things thats pointing to the sky  . they acted the same way . This threads a waste of time really they can care less to fix anything there has been proof of that already many times . We just have to accept that BIOWARE soldout compleatly  and are just puppets to be played with and told what to do by EA .  And they already got what they wanted our $$$. 

And ive classified EA lately as just like the common drug dealer. 1 They give away free stuff that seems really good   2 In hopes you get hooked on this DLC stuff. 3 But then the quality goes down once you are hooked but its to late by then. 4 And then they know your hooked and will sell stuff thats really bad . 5 And  you all still go  great stuff man .  congrats your all game addicts and EA is the dealers. this is just my take and IMO on things of late .

I've been having freezing issues when trying to set up an imported ME1 character, but the character has already been through the ME2 story once. It always manages to get to this specific loading screen, then it freezes. Anyone else having this issue? I would love to get my character to level 30 and to beat the game on insanity, but I can't even make it passed the first major loading screen. I was waiting for a patch in hopes it might help with my specific issue, but at this point I don't really have hope.
