1. On Miranda's loyalty mission, when confronting her traitorous assistant near the end of the mission, it appears he's supposed to have a line of dialogue after the Asari mercenary leader kills the warehouse worker. His mouth is moving, but no sound.

2. The Widow "Anti-Material Rifle" is spelled wrong. It should be an "Anti-Materiel Rifle." Materiel, with another "e," is the correct version.

3. The guard down in the AI Core, watching Legion, salutes with his left hand, instead of his right. Everyone else in the game (like in real life) uses their right hand.

In Tali's loyalty mission specifically, if you choose to present the evidence, you won't get her loyalty skill or costume. In this particular case, though, it makes sense, since she's mad at you and wouldn't be particularly loyal. The bug, then, is that the rewards for the mission complete screen indicate that you get the costume when in fact you don't.

Anyone noticed clipping bugs frequently? I walked through solid matter numerous times and then found myself floating above ground. this was very frustratng in between save points on insanity and happened repeatedly. i noticed this happened most frequently in Purgatory, during the explosions and in Zorya for Zaeed's loyalty missions, also during explosions.

oh if we are reporting cinematic discrepancies then I want to point out how dumb Miranda looks entering the Omega4 Relay when she says "As long as the new armor holds"



the ship is being attacked and is shaking violently, everyone else is bracing for impact and supporting themselves against walls, Miranda is standing straight up with her arms crossed without any acknowledgment of the turbulence of space combat...

I’m glad to see, that the sound going out in Samara’s mission isn’t just with my copy of the game. I even tried it using both discs since disc 2 was in the x-box 360 at the time by reloading it with disc 1 in it.

**Lol! Now I just replayed that Samera mission -the end of it at least and had no sound bugs shortly after postng this.

The text issue is a huge problem for me. The game is almost unplayable when I have to read anything. This wasn’t an issue in ME1.

I hope these can be fixed by a simple download update patch thing. Luckily so far at least I haven’t encountered any of the other glitches that are listed.


I do have this one to report. (don’t know if its already been mentioned)

-During Tali’s mission, at the end you are given the opportunity to have a final chat with the people there before you leave. However, plastered right over your dialog choices you get this “Press B To End Mission”

I'm Italian and I've noticed those things:



1) I would like to play in English and I hadn't found a way to do it. It is possibile to play it like u do with the DVD when u choose the languages u want to see the movie?

2) Italian's translation is not always so good, there are some phrases that if you listen to them carefully you can't say it's italian

3) Sometimes the scenes was cut away before you understand what's happening and so the dialogues

4) When I was at the point in which you use the shuttle while the Normandy works on the Collector code and is attacked, the game had stopped and I had to close completly the X-box and restart the game. The autosave took me directly in the scene after without me knowing what was happened, so I had had to go to my last save (lucky I save a lot) and restart again hoping it doesn't happen again.



It is a very good game and it is a pity when u saw that not all is functioning good. :)

i was having alot of issues with getting jack

1. jacob was in the air and would always be above cover meaning he would die alot

2. enemies were shooting me through cover. not the cover i was behind but boxs and such that could be used as cover



now garrus has had the same bug as jacob a few times on hardcore



ive also noticed on hardcore enimes focused more on shapered then on insanty. on hardcore a geth prime or mech would walk right next to grunt and complety ignore him and fire only on me

When I press Start to pause the game, it goes to the radial menu (Load, Save, etc.). It appears in this menu the game clock is still running. This doesn't make any sense to me. This is the only game I know of that advances the game clock when the game is paused.



I frequently will Pause a game and go do something else for some period of time (often hours). I do this to say boot up time in the future, etc. And sometimes I'll be in the middle of a fight where I cannot same the game but I need to step away for a bit. It would be REALLY nice if the clock didn't advance in Pause so I had a more accurate measure of actual play-time in the game.

Probably already been said a few times, but if it adds any weight, I've been having the new-game-freeze-on-Shepard's-skull problem, for awhile it prevented me from importing any ME2 characters (i.e. a second playthru of the same char).



I read on a Gamespot forum that you could unplug your controller just before the "Commander Shepard has been recovered" cutscene and then reconnect it when it asks you to choose face etc. Tried it once...seemed to work. Anyone else tried it?

I certainly have that problem too and everyone else that I've been talking to has noticed it too. That's the only thing that bothers me a little about this otherwise phenomenal game. Hope that can be patched somehow, would be ace.

Also I have noticed the occational flying character....like Jack (or any other character) standing in the air several feet above the ground, for example. But that ain't too tragic.

edit: oh and I also came across several sound issues as well. Like...sound cutting off before the sentence is actually finished during cut scenes. Or the sound getting pretty messed up and stuttering during intense fire fights (I have noticed that during the mission where you recruit Grunt, for example). And sound volumes are often very unbalanced. Some conversations you can hardly hear so I have the subtitles on.

Renegade bugs. Archangel and Professor recruitment, giving Renegade points after mission complete. Even if you take nothing at all from the areas and leave the merc mechs/gunship alone, chose only paragon and charm options, leave bank terminals and gambling alone, and not break into any homes.

Archangel mission end also does not inform you that you have recieved the points, only show up in Squad screen post-mission. Same for Professor if you choose to leave right away, lists as 5 points if you stay.

Off-hand Ammo Pack seems to be bugged. If you pick up a new weapon or access a weapons locker mid mission off-hand ammo pack will no longer increase max ammo capacity.

save.

I don't know if it's related to the Verner Renegade glitch, but after you do the stuff related to him, you also hear over the Ilos broadcast system about how he had started an organization called Shepard that took care of orphans and widows. I suspect THAT is related to the Paragon decision from him from the first game seeing as how it doesn't fit the Renegade choice at all, especially since it implies he had done it between ME1 and 2 despite ME2 having him have been going around pretending to be a merc the whole time.

The message Tali's father leaves her during her loyalty mission will not always display the holographic image of him talking, leaving Shepherd and Tali staring into space during the cutscene.

Later on, when they discover the needed evidence, Tali's father doesn't show up in the video, either.  It looks like there might be a corrupted model or texture there instead.

A quest glitch i've had once : Jack loyalty mission, at the end you're asked to stay or leave. I chose to stay, played about 2 seconds (Jack started talking, didn't do anything except beginning to move) and the end mission cutscene triggered for no reason.

Mission was complete and all but that was rather unsettling. Not a game breaking thing in the grand scheme of things.

Onto much annoying glitches.

There are multiple animation glitches during cutscenes and sometimes dialog ends abruptly (obviously skipping some words), playing FR version. It's not THAT frequent but it happens (similar glitches were present but much rarer in ME1). That's my first big issue, and I believe it's "unfixable".

My second big issue is, I hope, "fixable". For no apparent reason sometimes audio will crackle/saturate badly for a short period (few tenths of a second). It's rare but extremely UNCOOL. Don't want to screw up my audio system because one audio programmer went lazy on debugging.

Other than that, I also experienced most of the issues already covered. Being stuck because an enemy glitched through a wall is extremly annoying (auto-save FTW).

The main glitches I've run across so far are:

1. Every single time I reload a save file, or on occasion out of nowhere during the middle of combat, my teammates will switch sides on the Radial power/weapons menus. Which results in me pressing the d-pad to get them to either move or use a power and I get the opposite one. So, I hold down a bumper to bring up the menu and my teammates have switched to opposite sides of one another. This happens every single time I reload, and occasionally during combat.

2. I've quite a few frequent occasions where my character would get pushed up into the air and get stuck floating there. This usually happens when I run into a teammate while sprinting, or if my teammate and I try to use the same piece of cover, which results in either my character or theirs getting pushed into the air and stuck there, floating.

3. I've also had quite a few times where events don't trigger during the game, like at the end of the Archangel mission, when you shoot down the gunship.

(SPOILER) Garrus simply lays there on the floor, bleeding, all the enemies are dead, and nothing happens, so I wander around for a while hoping something will happen and finally have to reload my game and do the boss fight over again. (SPOILER)

Another point in the game where I've had this happen was during Jacob's loyalty mission. Two points in particular. First one, the female camp didn't speak to me when I entered, after I reloaded an earlier save file during the mission, so I had to reload again, and it triggered fine after that. Then immediately after, when the group of robots show up and start attacking you in the female camp, I killed all of them, but combat never ended (the enemies were definitely not stuck in the wall that time), so the female doctor stood there cowering on the floor, and I couldn't find out about the explosives to clear a path to the next part, so I had to reload my save file AGAIN.

4. I've had a few times where enemies would float through a wall and become stuck as well.

5. I've also had a number of glitches in relation to Biotic Charge (Vanguard.) I've gotten stuck in walls on multiple occasions upon reaching an enemy, and I've had a number of times where the entire animation will play, causing me to launch halfway through the air, then my character will reappear back where I started, the enemy will take no damage, and my power cooldown will trigger as if I used the ability, even though it didn't work.

Probably already mentioned elsewhere, but:

After EDI and Joker get all Chummy at the end, Joker's head vanishes during his portion of the dialogue between the two.  It just shows the background flight controls. 

And worse, during the 'Destroy the Blue Suns Base' mission, sound cut out completely.  I had to save after the mission and re-load to restore it... it didn't come back automatically after returning to the Normandy.  This is in addition to the sound issue during  the Samara loyalty mission.

I want to confirm the Sirta foundation bug (where it reports a massacre even if you saved all the civilians) and the Consort scandal report. Though, as the first post about the Consort scandal bit said, it's possible there have been scandals since, but that seems somewhat unlikely.

Has anyone run into this problem? After an end to Mordins Loyalty mission, I chose to stick around and hack a research terminal rather than ending the mission. After that, I accidentally pulled my weapon out and couldn't put it away, which resulted in me not being able to end the mission by pressing "B". Instead, I would just punch the air endlessly. *sigh* Had to reload and go through all the dialogue again...weak sauce.

I've also had that Mordin loyalty mission bug happen to me. I didn't need to take out my weapon, either; after I'd hacked the research terminal instead of immediately ending the mission from dialogue, pressing B didn't end the mission, so it was a soft crash.
