System Spec :
Intel Core Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHZ
Nvidia GeForce 9800GT
4GB RAM
I can run the game excellent on 1920*1200 , high textures and medium graphics.
Thing is , about 3-4 hours into the game I begin to start getting framedrops on simple battles , even looking at a wall and running.
This might be from a memory leak , not sure. DAO starts with 54% RAM (2GB~) and when the framedrops start it's about 74%. It doesn't automatically start at 70%+ though , I can play fine and 74% ram used , the framedrops would just show up and a random time
If I restart the game , they're gone but they will be back in time. Now it isn't THAT bad because it's gone when you restart but I still hate doing it and sometimes it's after 1-2 hours aswell so it's kinda random.
I try not to run things in background (CPU 0% and RAM 15% before starting DAO)
Framedrops after a period of playing

I'm having a similar problem. After I play for a while navigating menus, dialogue choices, and traveling to long times to load/process. I thought it was my card so I dropped my settings and resolution, but it still persisted

Same situation.
Theres a thread on it here: http://social.biowar.../92558/1#102977
I find that saving exiting and then hitting resume will get rid of some of it though exiting competly is usually a better option. I do this about every hour right now.
Also which version of the game is causing the problem? PC-DVD or a digital version?
