I started up ME2 this morning, and saw a message that there's new content on the Cerberus Network. When I clicked the New Content menu item, it took me to a page full of all the old Cerberus content. How do I download the new mission? Am I missing something, or did the people posting the notice and setting up the download link just wind up on different schedules?
How do I get the new Cerberus Network content?

You need to have cerberus code add to your online account which is your forum account on social bioware as well. To input your codes go here http://social.bioware.com/redeem/
Directions:
* Go to the Code Redemption page here: http://social.bioware.com/redeem/
* Sign in with your existing account or create a new account (make sure to sign in using the exact same account that you used on social.bioware.com)
* Enter the Cerberus code
* Upon successful redemption load the game and login

I've done all that -- it's the new content which appears in the Cerberus news display on that first menu screen that I'm trying to reach. I've downloaded Zaeed (and I wish I hadn't, he's such an annoying git), and I've downloaded the Normandy mission, and the various rifles and armor. But this morning there's a news alert about new Cerberus Network content, specifically a mission to save a hanar world from a comet. How do I download that? It doesn't appear on the New Content download page.

I don't think there's anything new after Zaeed and the crash site updates. I'm sure they'll give us something soon though, the DA:O updates seem to be coming at a fairly rapid rate.

The "New Content Available" is there even if you have all available PC content. It's either a bug, or (what I think it's doing) it's detecting that you haven't downloaded the 360 content.

Perhaps if someone were to start up Mass Effect 2, and take a look at that first menu screen? It's the one with the Cerberus News Network. There is a new news item:
"The extrasolar comet CR1331 Kingu will soon pass by the hanar colony world of Belan (Undercurrent). The comet contains a volatile gas element that the system's sun will warm up, but it is not known how the reaction will alter the comet's trajectory. It is impossible to determine whether the comet will strike Belan or simply pass it by. Hanar citizens are hastily evacuating the colony while their government petitions the turian fleet to commission a dreadnought to intercept the comet."
THAT. How do I get that mission? New content available + cometary destruction = paragon points for Shep.

I don't know if the 'news items' actually coincide with DLC. There's been other news flashes that don't have downloads.

Thank you, revenant_13. I wasn't aware the Cerberus Network News wasn't actually news of the Cerberus Network.
Just a tad confusing, that.

just a guess but maybe you should explore all the non-story related worlds to find the mission - there are several littles side missions hidden away that you cannot find without scanning unknown planets, recon the 'cerberus network' gives hints about where to look for them.
